D坂の殺人事件 Murder on D Street was a 1998 film directed by Akio Jissoji
(実相寺昭雄)
This film was beautifully made and shot, very atmospheric and artistic. The content is probably shocking for some, but the attention to detail is amazing. I feel the acting in this film was truly stellar by all the actors. The story actually has very little dialogue, considering its length, but the emotion conveyed was phenomenal. Thanks to the director, writer, cast and crew, and of course special thanks to Mr. Sanada for his work.
The song is Farewell Letter 別れの手紙, performed by Hiroyuki Sanada 真田広之

Ｄ坂の殺人事件の原作が、江戸川乱歩だとは知らなかったのと、この映画は、まだ見た事が無いです。真田さんが妖艶ですよね。女装みたいな事もしているんですよね。役柄が絵師みたいですね。

The lesson of this movie is that Hiro is prettier than any woman. That should have been the title: "I'm prettier than any woman". After all, the murder and investigation part takes only a quarter of the movie.
