This is the explanation: Don't worship men, don't adore them, don't idolize them - much less shill for them (not saying that you are, btw). All this because, once we've repeated such titles so much, we start to believe it and wind up turning such men into gods and ourselves into their adoring peasant, idolitrous slaves.
