As a player returning from like 2013, I started going up this line and absolutely loved from the T5 up. I also kitted most of them with normal scouting stuff, and while they can't brawl as well as other lights they teach you scouting/concealment mechanics SO well if you're willing to learn. I think the stock GSOR was the one I've enjoyed the "least", but feels much better upgraded and I still absolutely love it.
1:05:25 I have an advice for you, i know that you read all of the comments. For situations like this, you should have fast reconnect mod installed. By clicking CTRL + K, it immediately disconnects you from the server and you can reconnect in no time. It takes like 5-7 seconds to fully reconnect into the battle. It is very useful for situations like you had, you dont have to ALT+F4 and waste like 1 minute to open up the game. Also, WOT has this strange thing, that you have to wait like 15-20 seconds before it disconnects you from the server, with this mod you dont have such problem. It saved me MANY times as i dont have stable internet connection and WG servers laterly has been such trash, its insane. Highly recomend it to you, ive that from aslain's modpack : )
Just got the GSOR last night. With X5’s took me 27 games. 2200 combined damage with a %74 WR in LHMTV thanks to your videos. I’ve only got about 300 battles in lights
As a Scot I must clarify that shortbread is a traditional Scottish biscuit, so it is correct to have it in a UK-themed video, but perhaps not in the extreme English parody :) Edit: Holy moly, that char 4 jumpscare on Fjords! :D
thanks iyouxin, Recently, I asked on your Twitch livestream (whether Line Manticore is only good for spotting), and now I can see Line Manticore content. Thank you very much.
It’s such a shame WG didn’t follow through on what they said British lights would be. They said on their announcement of them that they would be “light tanks with naval cannons”. Yet the highest alpha in the line is the manticore with 390 which is the same as the EBR, AMX, Sheridan and WZ so there’s nothing unique about the line. I think they should massively increase the alpha damage of the line (or at least the manticore) but increase the reload time to keep the DPM the same. Imagine high camo light tank with 750 alpha damage but a 28-30 second reload so it’s not shooting often but when it does it absolutely slaps.
Cruiser IV is kinda OP. Covenanter is weird, but can be pretty good. Range limitation is pretty bad with it. Crusader is the first tank I 3 marked.. so yeah love it. Setter is way too inconsistent because of bad maps and having to play against higher tier LTs with CVS. LHMTV is good actually. Like Setter, but less bad. Can be played more or less like ELC Even 90. GSOR basically a LHMTV at tier 9 with fixed gun elevation. Manticore... don't have it yet. .. soon!
I am playing lhmtv right now, the fun of play is waaay better than in setter. And 226 pen on standard ammo is insane for a light tank, i have 91% moe after 77 battles, awesome tank
Mate, from a regular small light tank player. You leave your team alone a lot of times to make damage. Sometimes you still fix the games by the pure brute fighting skills you have, but for the other players on your team is very frustrating to see how the side is loosed cause nobody is spotting. That doesn't mean your games aren't amazing, they are, but looks like you try to teach new people how to play this game and what you do sometimes its almost imposible for regular smalls. I try to make useful criticism, not put you down, I know you also try to entertain, I love your videos and I know all your background life and how you fixed it. Love how you have now a better life thanks to your non stop work and enthusiasm. PS: Im a W lover too
@@iyouxintwitch In this video you did in Fjords, leave the north totally alone, you have another video recently of the Manticore alone that you did various times, and another video in prockorovka with the Amx tier X you leave the bushes without reason to go to the other side of the map. Make those moves those videos more exciting and entertaining? for sure.
@@iyouxintwitch I thought about that. If I have the skills and played this game 10 years like you have, probably be bored to do like this and also would want to have more impact in the battle. Also this make you crazy good at improvising and adapting to strange battles or people on your team that are tourist. Just criticizing moments that you want to teach light plays. BTW this video was very very funny with the tea and all British stereotypes, I like your videos more and more, thanks for answering and not taking my comment bad.
Would an addon to set a custom radius marker on the minimap be legal? Would be a great reference point for a well-read LT player who could mark down a particular value relevant to their setup, but would be perhaps too strong of a tool.
The thing which is bothering me in this kind of video is that you have all the equipment, food and probably maxed crew with at least 4 perks what gives you huve advantage till 7-8 tiers, new players or players who are starting new line probably wont have those and they cannot play like this. It would be intresting to see how you manage to play with for example 80% crew without food and 1-2 equipment till tier 8
I agree about maybe using more standard gear especially in tiers lower than 8. But 80%crew? Just No. LTs are by far the class that most need good crew skills, there are so many ways to ensure you can have at least a 100% crew, hell even at least 2 skills without spending money. Anyone playing with an 80% crew deserves to lose. If you grind up the line normally and move crew up the tiers, you can easily have 3 -4 crew skills by tier 8.
I started a new account on the NA server and got though the line as my second line in the game. Without prem time I could afford 3 equipment and I played on 80% crew for a while till tier 7. It was not bad at all, the low tiers are op, mid tiers aren’t great, but tiers 7 through 10 were a blast
So when u play a tech tree how far would you go with each tank when u go up the tiers? Do you play till u have enough XP for the next level or play more for each tank to boost crew?
