Tonight i've just rejected from uni that i've been dreaming of. And this is third times they keep rejecting me. I was so messed. I worked so hard. I gave my best. I was just feeling so overwhelmed with some things going on in my life. I just listened to this bayaan and It filled my heart with content. Alhamdulilah for you, Ustad Noman, for teaching us Quran and making it easy to understand for us all.
Sometimes I wonder Allah’s plans, some of which He would eventually tell in time. Having faith and understanding of our limited perspective in comparison to His has lifted some weight off my shoulders. Our highest knowledge should be being a slave only to Allah. May Allah makes us all have more faith in Him.

Once again, at the time when I needed it most, these messages appear to me. I and someone I care very deeply about are being put through a very difficult trial of patience and contentment with Allah swt plan. My mind is full of doubts and questions and Shaitan is working overtime to push me out of belief and into disbelief. But God is also on my side. The one whom God guides can never be misguided. May He grant me strength and patience to go through this. Ya Allah please remove this burden and ease this trial. I must be better than this.
This religion makes a lot of sense. I only have problems with Muslims. That's what's preventing me from embracing Islam. I had friends who converted to Islam then left because of the behavior of Muslims. Whenever he goes to a mosque, Muslims from different cultures try to convince him to follow their way of Islam. They also judge him. Eventually he stopped going to the mosque, and stopped socializing with Muslims. Another issue is whenever he asked questions or had doubts, they just shush him off by saying "It's just the whispers of Satan". It's almost impossible to ask questions or have discussions if you have doubts without being called a Satan or Disbeliever. So judgemental. And they invite Christians to reason and not be blind followers...
Megan Plante-Thibeault I faced similar issues when i asked questions though I am from a muslim family.Thanks to Allah,i came across Nouman Ali Khan's videos and eventually found answers to all my questions.What i realized is i cannot let my relationship with my Creator get affected by some obnoxious and judgemental muslims. I don't see unfairness in my personal life. AlhamduliAllah But I do feel stuck. Unable to move forward. Having no big resources to truly be able to serve Allah AWJ . I see nothing in front of me and it's been this way for a long time. All that's left is to have tawakkul and sabr. SubhanAllah ... Again how timely your khutbahs have been lately and how I've come to terms with my current situation. Early this week I found the three ayahs in Surah Imran 118-120 to describe my predicament aptly. In this khutbah is the knowledge of reality ... a few years ago I wouldn't have reacted as I'm currently because I feel that I practise more 'sabr' and offering forgiveness to the person concern. I have noticed that Allah SWT grants me wisdom of the situation bit by bit (graded). Instead of complaining to Allah or about Allah I tend to make doas and alhamdulillah I've not missed my Tahajud, Tawbah and Witir prayers daily...SubhanAllah... my Quran recitatatio hss impoved tremendously. I am regularly teary when I pray.. Alhamdulillah. Currently the person who has done many injustices, some of them can be considered grotesque has received an intervention order from the police and he is no longer around to annoy me SubhanAllah. Now I can think of a bright and happy future ... insyaAllah. Allah's plans are always perfect ... I cannot imagine where I would be if I've not been close to Allah SWT. Salam, I have a question to ask on Surah Kahf 18:38 mentioned "But as for me, He is Allah, my Lord, and I do not associate with my Lord anyone.". When I check previous verses I could not find any sentence about he is associating anything to Allah on that conversation. Please explain me. I am just beginner on this.

The association with Allah (shirk) was his wealth. Shirk has so many types. It is not just associate false gods with Allah. But consumed by wealth is also a form of shirk. Thats why he said i do not associate anything( wealth, fame) with my lord.
if you want to know what is the prerequisite to go to heaven and not to hell, here is the answer: John14v6: Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you want to know if the Lord Jesus is God, here it is, plain like black on white. John 14v9: Jesus replied, “Philip, I have been with you all this time, and still you do not know Me? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? No man who ever lived or lives on this earth can say such a thing except Jesus alone because He is God. Some will challenge this saying "Oh Jesus said: 18“Why do you call Me good?” “No one is good except God alone." (Mark 10v18). Well in fact what the Lord Jesus is doing here, he is addressing to the Jews by just playing on words. He is telling them you call me good but you do not believe that I am God (remember they stoned him for saying He is the Son of God). Yet you call me good, however no one is good except God. So here he is clearly confronting the jews about their belief of who He is. He is God because only God is good. And if you are not convinced yet, then read John 11v25. John 11v25: Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will live, even though he dies. 26And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” Only God alone is life and can give life to someone. So Jesus is Lord and God. No wonder Thomas said in John 20v28 “My Lord and my God!” And our Lord Jesus did not rebuke him, instead Jesus said "Now you believe?” (I am paraphrasing) Read it for yourself in John 20v27-29 27Then Jesus said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and look at My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe.” 28Thomas replied, “My Lord and my God!” 29Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” … So my friend STOP doubting. Just believe. He is our Saviour and Lord. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Praise be to his name. God bless you and may our Lord Jesus open the eyes of your mind.
Much needed, recently things have been pretty difficult. My engagement was called off unexpectedly ( her family changed their mind ) and I was left many questions as I didn't get a closure. I now realize that nothing happens without Allah's permission and he is the best of planner's so I just have to hold on to his faith and keep going on

During this short break, the person who is leading the prayer sits as Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him used to do. During this time, people around take opportunity to silently ask for forgiveness. this is nice, interesting and still many things popping up in my mind about Allah's plan. Need more discussion about it for better comprehending. Because....many times, we procrastinate about something bad, we become unaware that we su'udzan to Allah. Or...when we face something bad, we flash back and blaming this and that ( is that su'udzan to Allah?) So many times, people ( including me) keep talking bad/complain about something bad, but they keep saying: it is Taqdir. Is that how we behave in believing Allah's plan?
Do you think the mercy that Allah gave that slave before giving him knowledge could refer to him having been given mercy in his heart toward other people. As in if he didn't have the mercy but the knowledge only then it could be used incorrectly but it's the mercy that made him use the knowledge in the manner he did? Maybe I'm far off, just a thought listening to this khutbah.

I'm not a Muslim but I think having this sort of mindset is greatly comforting. Things in life could and will go askew, and in those moments of frustration and pain, you could at least find comfort in knowing that whatever bad has happened...it happened for a reason yet unknown to you. I don't think this way of thinking is entirely faultless BUT at the end of the day, it did pull me through though hard moments in my life and that's enough for me.
