In the summer of 2016 FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok led the bureau's investigation into the Trump campaign's connections with Russian officials, which brought forth criminal convictions of Paul Manafort and George Papadopoulos; Michael Flynn also plead guilty for lying to the FBI. But Strzok's personal conduct also led to his dismissal from the FBI, and raised questions over the integrity of his work. CBS News national security correspondent David Martin sits down with Strzok, author of the new book, "Compromised: Counterintelligence and the Threat of Donald J. Trump."

Strzok said Australians responded after hearing Trump speech: that was July 27. The Australians gave tip on July 26. He said Manafort gave polling data to Russian spy, when Kolemnic was actually a Ukrainian, and also an Obama DOJ source. He said Flynn mentions sanctions in conversation yet there is no mention of sanctions in transcript that he was not allowed to see, nor were his attorneys. Flynn actually encouraged Russian ambassador to help prevent retaliation over Obama expelling Russian diplomats. (Expelling diplomats was not sanctions) Strzok said that by encouraging no retaliation, Flynn was interfering with Obama foreign policy (Obama expected Russia to retaliate just as Trump started his Presidency; Flynn didn’t want country facing retaliation-he didn’t want chaos during transition but Obama did and expected it) FBI knew Carter Page was a source for CIA, but changed “he was” to “he was not” a source. They had to lie to FISA to surveil Page, access his emails back to his time on Trump campaign to copy his contacts. Russia was meddling in 2014. Devin Nunes reported it and Obama laughed it off. Strzok: Total Fraud

Really? I heard Strzok say the Crossfire Hurricane investigation was opened after Australian, Alexander Downer, heard President Trump's speech telling Russia it would be nice if they found Hillary's 30,000 deleted emails and then decided it was important to provide Papadopolus' (March 2016) comments to the FBI.. Unfortunately for Strzok, his investigation was actually opened 1 day BEFORE Trump's speech. Why would Strzok lie about that? Because he's trying to hide the fact that his investigation was opened on the basis of the Steele dossier, which was bought and paid for by Hillary Clinton.

The only person that the FBI claims to have popped up in their counterintel surveillance was Flynn. And in his role as incoming National Security Advisor the president elect, he was doing what all incoming NSA would have done. It's a propper and expected function of the incoming NSA to have spoken to and established relationship before the new president is sworn in. Someone in his position doesn't just sit around for a few months doing nothing and then expect him to start reaching and building relationships on Jan 21? It doesn't work that way. The president will need that position up and running on day 1, not day 30.
