He’s not wrong though and the ufc knows it. Jiri should be fighting Ankalaev for #1 contender but instead they give him the title shot again after beating Rakic? Anybody with legit wrestling prowess spears him.
@@windytv7511 no he wouldn’t bro he probably wasn’t even that high-level of a collegiate wrestle one he’s probably not athletic enough even to get to him and if he doesn’t get caught because he’s striking is probably terrible what is he gonna do when he gets him down He probably has zero jujutsu and probably has terrible ground impound all he would do gas in under around trying to keep him down
Not really. Alex doesn’t have great wrestling, but once he’s on the ground he doesn’t get submitted or really even take damage. Even if this guy could take him down, then what?
I love Alex ive been watching him since his callout of Rico Verhoeven in Glory. But he got his belt after the Hill fight which involved zero grappling. @@kabutoyakushi6618
@@j.menapace625 Alex beat more champs than most other ufc fighters Stay mad Its not his fault the top at 185 and 205 has not many grapplers And jan is a decent grappler with a black belt in bjj and he couldnt do anything to alex on the ground The same jan who was destroying izzy on the ground Its clear that alex ground game is getting better and better How couldnt it He trains regularly with glover Calling the worst double champ while he beat guys like hill izzy Jiri sean and jan shows how much of a casual you actually are This is a legit resume with the best fighters at those weight classes And alex wanted magomed who declined the fight twice Keep crying Izzy
@@j.menapace625no they dont Its just that there arent many grapplers at the top of those divisions You are clearly a casual Those divisions dont have many legit grapplers Alex is beating the best at 185 and 205 Not his fault that magomed declined to fight him
@@KeinProblem-uv5jh LOL Bo Nickal, Bobby Knucks, Ankalaev, and Khamzat are just some of the guys that would eat Alex's lunch. And he REALLY doesn't want any part of heavyweight where guys like Jon Jones, Tommy Ass, Curtis Blaydes, and Jailton (who may drop to 205 anyway) await. Stop projecting your casualness onto me.
@@KeinProblem-uv5jhwell he’s beaten the best in 2 divisions, don’t you think if it was easy to take him down and submit or ground and pound him then someone would’ve done it lol
I don't think that's the case, there is a video of Miesha Tate crushing 4 guys. And they are above average, skinny but athletic (if 50% of the population is obese that is a great achievement). A female ufc fighter is stronger than the average male. An average man will have an heart attack fighting for 25 minute, he wil gas out after 1.
@@gabrielegagliardi3956I agree that the average male would lose. I’m talking about the average gym bro. 5’10 190lbs, lifts 5 days a week, cardio most days, maybe took a few boxing classes.
I'm sure he 100% believes himself. He has absolutely zero chance. " Im a Collegiate Wrestler" means nothing, he would have said D1 if he was D1, he couldn't even win anything major at his level, let alone world level. Alex knows enough about footwork to never let this guy get close 😂 One knee to the face and that takedown becomes a KO loss.
I got one name for this man… Jan Blachowicz. Home took Alex down a few times and couldn’t do anything wit it. Alex got up every time and won the fight.
I don't think THIS guy in particular is gonna beat Alex lmao but he's sorta right about the wrestling, Tho Alex hasn't actually been taken down much in the UFC, He really hasn't faced any LEGIT wrestlers in the UFC yet. Put Alex against Ank, Let me see how he handles the grappling then.
Man, the fact he did this knowing this is getting broadcasted to the world(while looking like that,) is pretty bold... ☠️ Definitely the type of guy who goes "hEs WaShEd uP!" But man needs to worry about wrestling obesity over perreia.
Here’s the plot : he try to double legs Pereira, he get left hooked so badly he start loosing weight the next 24 weeks, he get bald with a partial face palsy, but at the end he defeat diabates and that’s a win for a loss.
•The comment section is the ultimate proof that most MMA fans live in their grandma’s basement. •Jealous of others because they actually tried to do something with their lives rather than being a spectator.
People are acting as if Alex Pereira is an amateur fighter. Yes, wrestlers have the best chance against him, but that doesn't mean it will be easy. If Alex can defend takedowns, what will the wrestler do then? We've seen this scenario with Islam Makhachev against Dustin Poirier and Alexander Volkanovski. Alex is one of the best and strongest strikers in the division. According to some people's logic, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev have never fought a good wrestler, which would imply that Khabib's wins over every striker are baseless.
