It sounds bitter and childish. My first grade Teacher slapped me in my face for helping one of my classmates pronounce a word while reading a sentence. My homeroom teacher disliked me so much that she always found a reason to keep me in when the rest of the kids would go play at recess. She would make me do writing assignments instead and she knew how much I liked my math teacher so during her class she would make me stay in her room for no reason and face the wall to humiliate me in front of the class. Because of this I didn't learn math like the other kids in first grade, so I've always struggled with it. I honestly thought I was doing something wrong, but I really didn't know what it was I'd done. I behaved like the rest of the children. I tried so hard to be good. For some reason she just couldn't stand me. I wish I could confront her and ask her why she hated a 6 year old little girl so much! Unfortunately, that was 50 years ago and she's probably no longer alive, but even though she hurt my education I still made a B in college algebra after taking two remedial math classes! Back then you didn't misbehave and you respected the teachers. You didn't ask questions and you definitely didn't talk back. I wish one of the other teachers would have stood up for me or I would have known to speak up for myself and tell my mom. Not all teachers should teach.

I'm not angry at it and I never go there to show them anything. From 16 yeh I was in the streets doing whatever I can to earn. I had family issues. But now I thank God for the love he showed me .
