I have Hisense 55A85G OLED 120 Hz with updated firmware that brings 2023 UI design to this old model. Can you disable the new energy efficiency pop-up that shows when you go to picture settings, as seen in your video. It can be quickly dismissed but is quite annoying. EU regulations, I suppose, so probably no way. As I only need to set ultra smooth motion settings to "smooth" to get the improved 600 lines of motion resolution with 60 fps content, with Custom set to judder 0 and blur to 10 to eliminate <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="182">3:2</a> pull-down judder for 24 fps sources, I sometimes get flashes between static cuts with high APL, as the TV for some reason doesn't do <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="305">5:5</a> pull-down. Did you notice this, now that they switched from Novatek to Mediatek SoC.
I recently purchased the U7K model. I was watching a football game and the motion of the ball was feeling glitchy(not smooth). Tried using blur reduction but didn't seem to work. Does it only work with HDMI connection?

Hello, great video, I have a question, is that when the film is in a clear moment it looks excellent but when it is dark or black parts some parts look strange, as if they were pixelated or like stripes, do you know why that is?
That’s because of the fact that TVs have limited motion resolution, especially 60 Hz models. In static scenes, you will see everything sharp but if the camera moves you will see limitations, especially in darker scenes. If your TV has blur reduction in Motion menu, max it out to see if that will lead to an improvement. Which model do you have?
Is there any forum or website I could go to , to get help with tuning out horribly luminous pink skin tones on my PHILIPS 50PUS7906. I've tried adjusting the various standard picture settings but nothing there helped. Theres advanced picture settings but I wouldn't know where to start there.
Bok Darko, ako može preporuka :) TV je za dnevni boravak pa su kutevi gledanja bitni(ima li više IPS-ova? ne nalazim baš :)) Uglavnom se gleda A1 tv, IPTV, koji skinuti film, Netflix. Veličina, e to nisam siguran al vidim da ima izbora po dijagonalama pa možda nije toliko bitan faktor kod preporuke al uglavnom od 43 do 50 inćuna(gleda se s 2-3m). A cijena, nisam pametan, od 300ojrića pa ne znam ni sam dokle bi išao, možda do 500-600? Ne znam jel opravdano za ovakvu upotrebu... Btw. Imaju li neki od proizvođača mogućnost snimanja programa na usb stick/hdd ali da je s IPTV i slično, znači ne s ugrađene antene nego s vanjskog izvora? Hvala unaprijed ❤

@@TVguyDarkoPa šta ja znam, može i bez androida... za IPTV ionako koristim SIPTV a sad jel ga ima smisla gledati za druge stvari, nez. I IPS ne mora biti ako će biti ok kutevi gledanja... da nije stariji LG 50NANO773 s IPS-om? Što kažeš na LG 50NANO763(783), TCL 50P735(50C735) i Sony KD-50X72KPAEP? Jesu u istoj klasi, po čemu su bolji jedan od drugog?(prednosti/mane)

New U8 out of the box 24 hours...Pictire Mode indicated Dolby, and I have no way of getting to other Picture Modes, like Theatre Day/Night etc. Also, Brightness stuck at 100%..Looks like set may be defective??
Hi! You need to play different signal types and check if the TV is for some strange reason stuck with Dolby Vision. SDR/HDR picture is triggered by playing such content.
Dear Darko I have two issues. I want the white color and tone to be darker for the home menu as it is straining my eyes. Also I feel that RED color is not true red. How can I solve these problems for my Hisense 55E7KQ Pro?
Hi! I don't remember seeing options to adjust menu's appearance, but you should check the Accessibility menu if it offers anything useful. @@TVguyDarko Thank you for your kindness Darko. In the meantime I have figured out how to soften the bloomy and blinding brightness from the Home Menu. I did it only after I have set backlight to less than 50 for all 3 SDR, HDR and Dolby Vision modes one after the other.
These are the recommendations - stay with the most accurate picture mode and adjust main settings as shown in this video. I understand the settings are confusing, hopefully 2024 models will be better.
@@TVguyDarko wasn’t trying to sound rude so sorry if it did, I mean I’m personally used to Samsung TV calibration. So for people who have maybe never owned that brand maybe just suggest what you would recommend. Just a suggestion. The video was very helpful none the less
I bought a Samsung TV and after 2 years it was brocken! Than i bought a Budget hisense TV and after 6 years it works like at the first Day! So i prefer Hisense!
