connect HDMI cable from soundbar to the tvs hdmi ARC port or use optical cable, then check active audio source in the audio settings

u need to select optical source in tv sound settings

@@TechWatcher I made it work in TV sound setting => audio output => SPDIF only But then TV lost control of sound volume, only Sound bar controller can control volume, this is kind of annoy. Did I do something wrong?

@@TechWatcher there is a sound option called BT Bar, but when clicked, no sound came out.

its possible, but u will need 5.1 Audio Converter and audio receiver, you can also get Universal Rear Speaker Kit or wireless rear speakers.

unplug hdmi from tv and plug it again, change default speaker on the tv sound settings menu.

Make sure when u pair them, soundbar is in standby mode and subwoofer in pairing mode, after that turn on soundbar and the fast blinking light will get solid and stop blinking, it is paired now, change source to Bluetooth , connect ur phone and enjoy, this is the only method to manually pair so retry if it doesn’t work but this method should work

hs 214 is okay if you dont have enough space for subwoofer and it looks more smooth and sleek. but in terms of sound quality, hs218 easily wins, but difference is mostly in low frequencies and bass, hs218 has has much more power.

connect soundbar to the tv hdmi arc and everything else to the tv.

Your DSTV will be connected to your TV, then from your TV use an hdmi cable to connect to the Soundbar.

unplug and than try again, after u turn on soundbar, wait 5 seconds and then press button behind the subwoofer
