Hispanic Heritage Hero: Jaime Escalante, Garfield High, East Los Angeles | Arnold Schwarzenegger 

I, Rebecca Medina (my high school self at 0:45 in the video), am humbled to have been a student in Jaime Escalante's AP Calculus class at James A. Garfield High School in East Los Angeles.
He taught me Calculus--but even more importantly, he taught me the value of Servant Leadership.
As a Latina Founder of a new tech start-up company in Silicon Valley, TalentCheetah Inc. (www.talentchee...), I strive to live out the core value of servant leadership daily with our project management service providers and with our clients. This is the multiplicative effect of strong leadership. Everyone wins.
