Historic Britain: St Mary’s Church, Haddiscoe, Uk. Exploring a very old Church and Graveyard.

Haddiscoe, Norfolk, UK.
This Parish church was constructed in AD 1140. The beautiful round tower is part Saxon, part Norman with the checkerboard battlement coming later. Lots of remodelling over the years but it is a beautiful church with a well memorial graveyard.

Dreadfully sorry that I missed the premiere. But it was a fine rewatch. Quite nice!! The inside of that house of worship is super lovely. Very nice. Seems very quaint & peaceful. Outside it also has a charming rural feel to it. Maybe it's because I'm just plain not much of a "city" person. Alas I'm not really rural; I'm from a medium sized suburban city. It's just that after I visit for the second or third day for a vacation (or a "brief holiday" as my ancestors homeland of Britain calls it), I'm quite fine & am ready enough to go. Have seen all I want to see, thank you. 👍🌹🪦

Just saw this video posted. Had a phone off part of the day to do things need doing with no interruptions .Love this video as this is about history and I read a lot of history books. Great Video Lisa.

This is incredible! You have some beautiful old cemeteries there. That church is unbelievably beautiful, too. Sorry I missed this sooner, I'm traveling today and finally getting to watch it while I'm stuck in traffic. My daughter is driving, so I'm good, lol. You did a wonderful job on this Lisa!!
