I worked downtown at where that empty lot. Cool history. Also I knew the guy who painted the back of that building. I knew a lot of those people in the personally!

Great video and I am with you Micah, something special about downtown Kissimmee.

I think it was awesome that where ever they laid RR tracks,Small towns began to pop up,Most are still here today.

I love Kissimmee, raised my kids here and took them on train rides from the depo. Since they have worked on the lakefront she is awesome and setup for kids and families. Friday nites is food truck all lined up and great food.

The Jeremy's Furniture/candys and cakes mural-- would love to see that one preserved! The monument of states statue is totally cool. very awesome walk!! Love trains so the Amtrak/Sunrail station was special. I miss that EPCOT bus! Now I am thinking of one of the signs at the antique store in Groveland (from a more recent vlog) was for the Orange Blossom Hotel. Love this type of vlog!

What a beautiful downtown

Cool video .... Alot of Ranchers & Cowboys lived here in Kissimmee in the mid 1800s,A blacksmith was essential for them. I Lived here since 92.. Also that Sun Rail is a fairly new edition to the area,It's primarily a commuter train,I believe 16 stops North, from Poinciana to Debarry. Also seperate Amtrac trains run there too.

Great vlog! I lived in Kissimmee for 4 years while attending Florida Christian College. I went to the old theater a lot for cheap movies but that is not there anymore. Spent plenty of time at the lakefront park. I remember several purchases I made in downtown. Nice memory trip.

The sunrail is such a disappointment. If they had later weekday hours and weekend hours so many more people could use it but instead they use it mainly for work. I would love to grab the train on a saturday and head down to winter park for lunch and shopping instead of fighting traffic and trying to find parking. Imagine going down to the bars or a sporting event at night. I still remember they opened it on the weekend one time for the winter park art festival and it was packed. Extend the hours and they will come.

Awesome... What a great way to spend an afternoon.... Walking around a great downtown and looking at art and history ... Great stuff.... old stuff is great to keep around to show you how things used to be and to show the change that has happened.... art is great to look at as well... art can be in many different forms and shapes....Thanks for sharing.... take care... That empty lot at 2:30 used to be Brown's Cafe and pool hall that burned down in 1991. There was speculation at the time that it may have been intentional.
