To all you musicians: notice how the car that passes at 3:46, a late 70's car with (I think) a cosworth V8, sings around approximately a middle D-flat, in a throaty baritone register. Then the 2000's era V10'car goes by screaming it's own D-flat a whole octave higher in the soprano register! What a musically beautiful back to back comparison of these engine's voices. True Formula 1 engines really do sing 🎶
Brian Messemer holy shit your right... thats awesome i always said they sing but never really thought about it and as someone who plays viola im kinda ashamed lol
@KSD the sound of the new cars is only loud but it can't enter you body like a v10 or a v12, I've heard several times cars from 89 to 2013,and quite a few the new turbo hybrid ones, when i heard for the first time the synphony of a v12 i was literally crying, when i heard the new v6 it was just, neow... neow, emotionally nothing.
@KSD I got to see the Saturday 10 lap race they did with them, and they were deafening from the grass I was sitting on. Beautiful sound though, beautiful sound indeed!
No thanks. I don't want it loud...have you ever been to an F1 race? If you forget your earplugs at the hotel and are sitting near the track...your whole day is ruined. Screw the loudness that literally damages your hearing...especially for kids. And it is TERRIBLE for those who live near the track. Plus, eventually, there will be sound laws that will outlaw too much sound in EU countries...guaranteed. I hear what you are saying (pardon the pun)...but what I want is the quality of the sound to be great. Like Brundle said (paraphrased) - it's not the volume, it's the quality. These engines sound great. Today's don't.
@@Nyctophiliac. ever heard of larousse sp. minardi, lotus, rare if youve only watched formula1 for the past ten years maybe, so really ? or do you understand now
I personally love the no.24 red and blue one. I now want to learn the names of them, so please do forgive me XD, but it sounds like a flat 12, and let me tell you, that machine is HEAVENLY
Epic Engines Tecno F1 PA 123/3, listen to it scream through the monaco tunnel at 3:26 of this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-R1tjxKoIQu8.html
THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH my friend. you would not believe how long I have been searching and scrolling through different names for this one car XD! thanks so much once again for your massive help
formula 1 never dies even with the V6 there is a great battle this year . We all love V12,V10,V8 sounds but its 2017 and everything is economical so u should get use to it
Cars are still boring to watch and most of the drivers aren't really great to see either, so there's no reason why you should waste your time watching F1 instead of another racing series
ALIENdrifter66 yeah they go around in line like slot cars, and it doesn't help that a lot of these modern tracks aren't conducive to passing to begin with.
Coolnessfactor f1 got better with the v6, its not as good as it used to be but the best its been in about 20 years. they should ban telemetry until after the race. setting cars up is a great skill that has been left almost redundant by telemetry. Bring back steel brakes too, longer braking distances mean a lot more overtaking.
Calma e pazienza - dovrebbe arrivare presto! Molti me lo chiedono e il ritardo è dovuto dal fatto che l'auto che volevo comprare ad Aprile dopo averla provata si è rivelata un pò una delusione, quindi ho continuato la ricerca e ho trovato un altra auto che vado a vedere presto.
For the new generation this is the norm. For me nothing beats the v10, v12 sound of the 80s and 90s. The sound of the car made f1 enjoyable to watch back in the day.... Although the cars are faster now they sound pretty gutless.
