Thank you for sharing. I was born on Kahului, Maui on October of 1965. I used to live on the street of Puunene Avenue. Would be great to show before and after pictures.

I would love to see the present day counterparts to these pictures. I can't even recognize most of these it looked so different back then

The second photo, captioned "WWII / Naval Patrol Scouts" is actually a view of Honolulu seen from Punchbowl Crater in the 1930s - not Kahului, and not even Maui at all.

0:25 - I presume the caption "Tidal Wave 1964" is an incorrect identification of the 1946 tsunami.
