Part 2. After traveling from New Jersey to New York, documentation in the Manhattan and Queens areas begins. Apologies for the time/date stamp in the video.
This was one of the most phenomenal winter storms I've been a part of. I'm certainly going to miss being involved when they happen... though I'm sure people trying to get to work will be happy if they never happen again.
That was one hell of a blizzard. I remember trudging through the snow in the middle of the street with my father. It was cold but the effort left us really sweating. It was nighttime and I loved the way the snow looked through the orange glare of the street lights, which were still sodium vapour at the time. You definitely don't get the same quaint effect with the new LEDs.
I hear you.....I remember January 2016 snowstorm. It snowed two times that month. Yes you're right about the new LED lights vs the old lights. Yes on the sweating too! Glad I wasnt the only one!
@@eddieeclark314 There hasn't been as much snow in the past few years here in NYC. So far this season we've gotten only one storm that was 6-8 inches. In both 2018 and 2019 I believe we barely had snow for both of those seasons. You can continue be a keyboard warrior from your home in the middle of nowhere though.
I wish we would get a snowfall like this again I’m currently in jersey and this year has been very boring 2019 no huge snowstorm waiting for a huge one!!!
@@StapIes simply not true. There are more efficient ways to limit the effects of industrialization in the electric car energy than for gas powered vehicles.
I'm from germany. And we have nearly every year such fucking Blizzards. But we call it "Schneesturm". In Sibiria it is every year. But there nobody would make a movie over this. And in the french alps it can be more than 60 cm snow in a night and nobody cares.
I am from Sydney Australia and have never seen snow in my life.So mate, this is pretty impressive to say the least. My father is 73 and has not seen snow either , so i don't feel so bad. When our temperature reaches 110F i may view this video again to cool me down.
