Kudos to the heroes who decided it would be a good idea to run a 1961 Ford Galaxie on a gravel rally. It's like entering a cruise ship in the America's cup.
Those escorts, GT/E, asconas 400 and Volvo 144 are really singing in a hi-rev lovely melody !! A big bore 4 pots is still a pleasure to heard nowadays ! But the sound of the Saab 96 is so singular with the 2stroke, even with the V4 !

Rally Cars have influenced the style of street cars today. Hellcat Widebody for example. Fender flares, exaust and rear wing spoilers and even from air dams and spotlights
Porsche typ 64, but I don't know if it's a replica or not, because this car is the rarest Porsche caus' it was the first crafted by Ferdinand and it was at teh time of WW2.
So i don't know if it was the FOMOCO, but in the sixties and seventies there were some Mustang rallying in France, maybe an agent's initiative for the french championship and it was a beast in some rallyes! And a Mustang's got a good balancing due to its monocoque shell for sure, but they were well prepared and won currently the big class. I remember some Challengers too...
@@gundalfthelost1624 People are forgotten that they were lot's of american cars in Sweden, and Harleys too... That a swedish friend of mine who told me. And the mustang was one of the best american car to drive on europeans tight roads...
