This quaint historical town is amazing. My kind of town! I just got home from the hospital today. Been there since last Thursday. This peaceful & lovely tour help to lift my spirits. These kind of towns make us forget about the evils around us & feel calm & peaceful. I needed to see this post tonight. Thank you both so much & Mr T, too. ♥️♥️♥️
My Hometown here. So much has changed over the years. The one store you were in use to be Williams Restaurant, My Brother in law owned n ran it. There's so much more to see in the area specifically outskirts. Thanks for sharing this.
Really loved this video of Rogersville - what a neat town. Definitely on the list of places to visit. Y'all did a great job of bringing some Tennessee history to life. Thanks for the adventure.
We have stopped by Davy Crockett birth place in Limestone several times …..it’s improved quite a bit since we were there the first time I guess close to 50 years ago.

This was a really neat town, mill & cemetery. I love historical places & so glad you feature these small towns. Please keep bringing Big T! My dad & I get a laugh out of him.
Just watched. Read about Rogersville in the Blue Ridge Magazine...loved seeing Big T again...says they have added more stores and restaurants. May want to revisit with the new additions. Enjoyed seeing this quaint town and so much history
Rogersville looks like such a neat town with so many things to see and do! I’d love to spend a day or two there exploring the town. I love history too. So cool how the town was founded by Davy Crockett’s family. Mike, I thought it was funny when you said “That first step is a doozy.” We live in the town where the movie Groundhog Day was filmed. Thanks for taking us along with you guys on this awesome adventure. It was great seeing Big T as well!
Very nice video. Thorough. You both showed the town, main street, parks, landmarks and history of it. Plus William Amis historic park, house, restaurant, grounds.
What a beautiful town. I love the history. It’d be fun to look through the antique stores. This video would be pretty on our tv so we can see the scenery on a bigger screen.
Hey Mike and Karen I enjoyed rogersville Tennessee first that I have heard of this these little towns are getting harder and harder to find something that we can never replace I'm glad that y'all find these places and put them on RU-vid because some people would never get to see these places if it wasn't for y'all till next video God bless
i live in rogersville and in school they would take us around to all the like historical spots. growing up here it was a little boring but i could see it being nice to visit and check everything out

My grandfather lived in the old mill, and a generator at the mill from the old water wheel, made electricity and sent it to Lyons hospital in Rogersville.

Love this trip!! We love history also. We did Colonial Renactment for a number of yrs. Love quaint small towns with that hometown feel. Will have to look this one up and add to our list. Thanks and God bless ❤️❤️❤️🥰
Absolutely amazing video‼️ Beautiful sites and very lovely commentary‼️ My husband and I are getting ready to visit Rogersville in two weeks, and now I know exactly where I will be going and what I will be looking at while I’m there. It really helps me to know that there is some beauty to that town.
It was kinda funny to see this pop in my feed because I have lived in Rogersville for the past almost 30yrs, and only about a half of a mile from the opening footage of downtown.

Ok we laughed at the vintage store thinking we know where they got all their stuff. After auctioning off all my parents stuff bet these are the people that go to auctions and buy up the stuff. What a neat old town with so much to explore. The Amis Heritage farm was so neat and what a beautiful spot.
My wife had a cousin that lived in Jonesboro sadly he passed 8 or 9 years ago. We really like Jonesboro. I’ve seen the sign for Rogersville when we were in Greeneville.
The descendants of the Amis Mill owner Thomas Amis moved to Rogersville several years ago and bought the property. They opened the restaurant and made it a tourist attraction. I thought that was pretty cool.
Dandridge is older! Greeneville is also older. Carters Fort and Watauga are several years older. Meadow view in Carter's Valley and the Wallen's at Kyles Ford, Elisha Wallen in now Claiborne County was "settled" years before. Jonesborough was both settled and incorperated before.

Nice dog but I thought the "video" was to be of Rogersville, TN. It would have been interesting to see the historic part of the town, stopping to view the historical structures, etc. Sad
Rogersville is a lot prettier the Mount Carmel and has nicer people and Rogersville is my hometown don't like it stay out no one said you had to come Harold Denton
