To quote the engineer, the engine is "steady and will go forever." In our world, there is something very reassuring about that. Thanks for the video. I will follow as she gets underway.

I recommend picking up a cheap LED light panel, friend. Great footage, and the most informative.

This reminds me of my days as Chief Engineer on the steam tug Trieste, a TID oil fired harbour tug.

i think this is very interesting seeing the steam engineers raise steam the voyage, recently i read that when they got her from the royal navy after they were finished with this steam boat that the group had problems getting enough oil fuel so they restored her boiler back to coal firing.
