County officials warn that a flooding Salinas River could isolate small communities on the Monterey Peninsula for the first time since 1995. Wilson Walker reports. (1-13-23)
I drove that route from Salinas to Marina and Salinas to Monterey for years before I left California. I remember the river rising back in '95. Right now it appears to have some feet to go. Here's to your levy's holding and no additional rain.
I was there in 95 too. My whole family has left CA too 🙏. We grew up between Castroville and marina off highway 1. Remember going to Spreckles for soccer practice.
Feeling for you all there, we're trapped in another county for an indefinite period of time since our roads are completely destroyed. We still have debris from a fire 5 yr ago, it takes better than a long drought to heal this pain.
Lol very cost efficient thinking there. First time since 1995 mather nature has flooded like this and you think a reservoir will be just sitting there not needing any maintenance or be breaking down in heat and non usage. Stable genius im assuming you fancy yourself like the former.
@@mbryson2899 First understand what the entire word of God says, then comment. You yourself either don't know it and don't want to, or know it but prefer what suits and benefits you the most. When Jesus' followers wanted to call down fire or lightning (...?) on others who were preaching what Jesus had preached to the public or masses, Jesus corrected them and told them those other people were doing the right thing: he didn't tell them "look to your own salvation first" that they shouldn't judge others. The comment you responded to is correct: most people don't care (per Gods word) and it's only human to say that and/or to feel sorry for such people.
@@mbryson2899 That is so over used! If you know your Bible, other than those verses, I was referring to the lost, who do not know that they are lost. I was lost for the first 20 years of my life! So please don't try to throw Matthew 7,1-5 at me.
