Maintained the 507/08s for five years at Birkenhead north before becoming a driver on the Wirral line such a love an easy to drive loved them I’ll miss them when they get replaced such as time things need to be upgraded for today’s technology an needs I’ll still be here driving the new 777s for another 10 or so years

Class 508 used to have 4 cars but class 508 now has 3 cars cence the class 455/7 so now the class 508 is for now on 3 car trains and class 508 is now trapped being 3 car trains as class 455 is scrapped even with class 508 cars
