I was a punisher fan in the late 80s/early 90s as a kid. I even made a punisher Halloween costume when I was 9 or 10 (with the white gloves and boots and a toy M16A2). Punisher max was basically the end of the real punisher run. The stuff where he joins the Hand and his symbol changes was just dumb fan fiction, like everything marvel puts out now. The Disney MCU metastasized, and traveled back to the publishers. Just in time to help the Indies thrive again. Indy graphic novels are still doing great, and I've been getting into manga again. Comics are a great art form, and there's still new stuff coming out that's amazing to look at and fun to read.

Interesting. Can we get a part 2? Punisher has a broad origins story. I have comics with Punisher participating in World War Hulk and Secret Invasions (the storylines as an unregistered hero being chased by G.W. Bridge). Also, did Punisher team-up or battle The Red Hulk, and why? I have a somewhat clouded memory of that happening.

Punisher always was and always will be the GOAT 😎. Too bad he never gotten his own games with Daredevil, Kingpin, Tombstone, Bullseye, Jigsaw, Bushwhacker, Elektra, Barracuda, Spider Man etc. With Brian Bloom as his voice. But as far as combat, his style would consist of Shorin-Ryu Karate, Muay Thai, Arnis, Kobudo, Shurikenjutsu, Jiu-Jitsu, Krav Maga, Hwa Rang Do, and Systema . And Daredevil's style of Boxing, Taekwondo, Escrima, Bojutsu, Jiu-Jitsu, Savate, Silat, Judo, Goju-Ryu Karate, Capoeira, Ninjutsu and Wushu (Nanquan, Jian, Dao, Fanziquan). Suits 'em perfectly 👌

Oh wow! They named a character "the Clansman"??? At least it wasn't spelled "the Klansman" 😂

His family's original name was Castiglione. He is one of the few white Marvel Comics heroes not of Anglo-Saxon or Irish ethnic origin. And they talk about diversity? Just try to find a middle-class white family named Parker in Queens, New York. I don't like that in the comics Captain America, Daredevil, Spider-Man, and even Kingpin are always lecturing him.
