I always think that the Japanese commercials were more interesting and beautiful to watch. The way they made the dioramas were art.

Japan has some of the most creative ideas no one would've thought. They created Transformers and Super Sentai. Makes me wonder what would america be like without them.

Yeah, Japanese art and design can definitely be cool. That's an interesting "what if?" scenario. 👍 Would American cars have better or worse designs if there never was a Japanese influence in the car industry in America?

@@ahmadahmal2942 I have seen some ignorant Americans on yotube who are outraged because they misunderstood that "Japanese stole Transformers! " But if the US developed the Transformers toys, why were Japanese cars like the Fairlady Z and City included? At that time, there must have been a lot of Japan bashing in the U.S., smashing and destroying Japanese cars.

Hasbro purchased the licence? So in other words Transformers is Japanese? Oh waw. Daiakuron was the original concept.

I'm surprised that Hasbro didn't make Ultra Magnus the leader of the Autobots at first. He's bigger than Optimus. But it all worked out the way it is.

I don't know which came first. LOL. Both Power Rangers and Transformers were based on pre-existing Japanese ideas. 😆

3:21 In the original Diaclone Car Robots line. only Battleconvoy returned. as bigger Battleconvoy VMax. with some transformation sequences based heavily on modernized Optimus Prime (Twisting waist). Too bad in the rebooted iterations, he can't fly in robot mode.

im going to guess you got these from the japanese g1 dub dvd boxes? Btw, somthing ive never heard anyone mention , the sound effects at 5:15 are all ripped from 60's astroboy.

Oh, that's a cool find about the Astroboy sound effects! 👍 I actually got these ads from the "Memory Disc" DVD which was included with the Hobby Japan MOOK "Diaclone World Guide" magazine; I can't read Japanese, but 2017 was printed in the magazine.

5:04 Hard to figure out whether will Powered Convoy returns in Diaclone reboot? but if it does. it may not be just another Battleconvoy VMax but it maybe a kind of Truck/Spacegoing 'Diaclone carriers' or another kind of Space Train :P

I'm not familiar with the current Diaclone line, but, I guess you can't keep Optimus Prime (Convoy) out of the game too long no matter which toy line he's in, right? 😆
