My Lord, what a WORD! I messed around and watched this before getting ready for work. Now, I've got a serious praise situation going on! I had the blessing of playing for her early in my career when she preached a revival at my former church in Durham, NC. And I've always enjoyed her at the Hampton Ministers' and Musicians' Conference. I love how God has elevated and blessed her over the years.
@@19leviesr10 I'm a NC native. I was the full-time minister of music at First Calvary Baptist Church for ten years. Pastor Fredrick Davis was the pastor. He retired a couple of years ago. In 2011, I moved to Ohio to teach music at a small Lutheran University for ten years. Now I live and teach in Chicago.
@@kentbrooks3227 alright. I know Pastor Davis. I’m from Durham and still here. I grew up at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Apex under Dr. Marcus V. Ingram and I stay probably 3-4 minutes from First Calvary
@@19leviesr10 OMG! I've been to New Hope so many times for revivals and choir anniversaries all the way back to when I was in college at UNC. I think the pastor there is a former associate minister from First Calvary, Gary Brown. He is a good guy!
Read your bible and pray for understanding. Women pastors aren't acceptable to God. These women ard dishonoring the Almighty God. They will have to give an account for their ungodly deeds. SHAME., SHAME
Anointing will allow us to obey God's word....the book of prophesies says godly women are quiet....let your women keep silent in All the churches of the lord.....right?
I feel & can see if there were no women in the the church some would have to close their doors. Most men old or young are not in church anymore. It was bad before Covid & after being shut in our homes and watching by tv; some of us got lazy. Amen ❤️ 🙏. And the doors of the church would be pad lock if it was not for the giving offard of tithes & offers. They men are dying,partying, doing other things, and to dangerous for them to come our fir service. Amen😂❤

I thank God for the word I just received, and I have to point out. She definitely just stood up there and preached better than some most male Baptist preachers today truly a word from God.

How stupid. Your first teacher..your mama was a woman. Jesus' teacher his mother was a woman. The first group that witness the resurrection was a woman. The took the message of the resurrection to the men. You got your first meal from a woman. When you needed changing. It was a woman who changed you. You stayed in the womb of a woman before you were birth. It was a woman who taught you to eat right. It was a woman who taught you to put on your own clothes. When you were little and troubled arose around you. You cried out for your Mama. So why can't a woman preach and proclaim that Jesus is Lord.

This was the Joint National Baptist Convention. This convention consist of the four Black Baptist Conventions with a combined membership of an estimated 17 million.

They do, though, have several colleges [American Baptist College in Nashville, TN (NBCUSA), and Simmons College of Kentucky in Louisville, KY (NBCA)]. They do multi-millions of dollars of disaster relief each year as well as home and global missions. PNBC is the social justice convention of the four and is headquartered in DC, keeping up the pressure on politicians on behalf of Black people. Senator Raphael Warnock (Ebenezer Baptist of Atlanta) is a member of PNBC. These are just a few things. They aren't in the hotel business.

Even though I'm not a christian, this women has spoke a powerful word to those of you who do believe. What I also don't or can't understand is, why has it taken so long for a women to preach at a concention? Don't they know it was women who sought after and cared for Jesus after his death on the cross? Don't they also know that it was the so-called 12 that left him in his most needed hour? Lord I was just saying the same thing....he was quite OBVIOUS....his face and body language spoke volumes....pray for him . I'm a witness God will not only give you the strength to climb the mountain.....he'll move the mountain too.Sad... the first person to teach him anything was a woman.
