That's quite a beautiful theme tune used between 1973-89.

@@bogdansiuda2799 Lets all just agree here that communist countries were really good when it came to composing music. One such masterpiece is the Soviet Anthem.

Yes, indeed! It would be nice to know the entire track, if there was more of this!

Fun fact: Name Televizní Noviny (TV newspapers) is now taken by commercial station TV NOVA, so our public TV had to use different name after revolution.

I don't know why but I love the 1992 intro, it's so unique. Also they later made a version with “UDÁLOSTI” that now has an accent (though the early version was still occasionally used).

2:17 That newscast was captured on November 17, 1989, the beginning of what would become the Velvet Revolution, and the beginning of the end for communism in Czechoslovakia.

You saw my comment about a shorter Události intro in use from August 2007 to December 2007? The longer 2007 intro was actually in use from January 1st 2008 to December 30th 2009.

The 1973-1989 one just reminds me of ballet for some reason.

2:25 Is this been modern ČST TV in that time?

No, the Czechia was a communist state at the time.

So it didn't had modern computerization in 1989. Right?
@fajvex
@fajvex 3 года назад
@@danguolesereikiene9265 It was, just at that time computers were a complete novelty in our country, and at that time our companies could not produce computers as in America, except for the company Didaktik, which made a great copy of Sinclair. In addition, you could buy Sinclair in the so-called Tuzex (Shop with things from Western countries). Unfortunately, ČST could not use them, so it used computers of our home production, which were not as good as the others. I know because I come from that country. Of course, today ČT (formerly ČST) uses the most modern technology.
