Everyone agrees since she's so kind and it's unlike anyone who choose between Soul Calibur or Soul Edge for her reward of defeating him or even killing him or spare him in humiliation, Her was not only she had no interest in the swords since they were a threat of nature, And before Algol can die, She offered him a chance to see his son again who held no jealousy towards him but rather smile and offered his hands as they are now reunited in the afterlife...
@@theinfinitysock5722 Fun Fact: In SC2 she cured Necrid from his monster form. Making him human again. That's the story reason why Necrid is no longer in the SC games.
Feels like an important part is missing from this. In his final try creating soul calibur, the sword got corrupted by Algols own negative emotions, giving birth to Elysium. Fearing another soul edge, the tribe sealed its true power away where she remained dormant until seigfried fought nightmare, breaking her seal and allowing her to try and corrupt seigfried, preying on his guilt.
YES I waited so long for this Video and I REALLY hope that Algol returns as a DLC character in Soul Calibur 6 because he has such a unique fighting style and he is the goddamn creator of the sword Soul Calibur!
Can you imagine that pain. Being immortal, having everything. But loosing the one person who was your everything. Being forced to kill your own child. That seems worse than death.
Aeon/Lizardman may have a minor role in the SC series, despite not being important to the story his backstory is actually really good, I never really knew he was an actual Spartan.
Glade you found him interesting. if people learned more about the character they would've understood him more. I see him as more than just a lizard, just like how a lot of fans of the female characters see them as more than just some eye candy.
I LOVE the lore around Algol and Soul Calibur. There were some seeds planted back in SCII's Weapon Master mode where you fight a warrior with Arcturus' soul. Please do a video on Aen Calcos!
*YAY, my 5th favorite main, I really hope he's DLC or comes in 7 when they make one hopefully.* My Favorite Mains: 1. Nightmare 2. Taki 3. Siegreid and Astaroth 4. Abyss 5. Algol.
Thanks for posting this Algol was my favorite Boss in the whole Soul series and that was one of the things that pissed me off in SC5 seemingly making him like an irrelevant side character that angelic Sophita looking thing was pretty lame and I never liked Inferno either, Abyss was pretty kool but I think Algol is the perfect duel Soul Calibur/Soul Edge wielding boss in the end, Night Terror is pretty kool as well though not a fan favorite for Nightmare fans I didn’t mind him also possessed Cervantes in Soul Blade was badass too. What makes Algol very fascinating is also for me that he is very ancient in the sense that he predates the Soul series and is essentially the man handler of Soul Edge so this to me made his entry to the series and his SC4 boss intro all the more epik.
Where am I supposed to be look exactly is there a screenshot that may imply male and female lizardmen? cause other races having female options doesn't automatically mean they will all get them. Just saying. It'd be cool if all the races had genders to select but we have to wait for more to see. I want to know form the lizardmen creation itself.
Yeah I don't have my hopes up for Algol unless Namco decides to make him DLC. Also, he is a very powerful character in the series and with I was able to do with him in SCIV, he's very well-balanced. Although, probably not as balanced as Talim since she was created for beginners and even experts in fighting games. Algol, meanwhile, is really a combo beast making him OP.
Although algol isnt the best i always had a kind of empathy for him. He has a tragic backstory and his appearance is not terrible just not memorable lol. Anyways great video as always thanks for the content.
SoulCalibur/SoulBlade have such a deep lore and interesting, much more rich and great then any other fighting game I ever known, great job bringing those amazing stories
Also let's not forget this, It may not be confirmed but this Aval Organization who were created by the "King" from ancient time which Groh works for and Azwell (Either still affiliated or left the Organization), Well people have been saying that Algol is the one who created this Organization and entrusts them with his mission he never completed by destroying Soul Edge and all Outsiders/Demons who are linked with this cursed sword.
Hopefully they bring along algol and stick him in the game. I loved his fighting style plus how looked down on others. It was fun when beat someone dress as the demon king as algol. What I like the most is he that chacters that you pick because you can't decide if you want to use soul calibur or soul edge, so you go why not both.
So he was basically Gilgamesh as op just instead of being a tyrannical asshole he was pretty a nice guy, until you know his soul was stuck inside of an evil chaos dimension
I know you did Tekken's Yoshimitsu, but have you done both Soul Calibur's Yoshimitsus? If you already did, then how about The Alexander Siblings? And if you do that, can you make sure that you tear apart Patroklos?
So wait im a lil confused if its Agol's soul that's linked to soul caliber like inferno is to soul edge. How was Agol able to be separated from the sword? And where did Elysium come from?
What a shame. When he first showed up, I was like "Who's this fuckin gamoog?" This video actually makes him sound interesting, and like you said, there's pretty much no chance he's gonna play any real role in the upcoming. The last installment was such a waste.
Well knowing Namco soul calibur 6 is aniversy reboot. Which means it's calba of all the games. So it's possible for things like abyss (who think will come in the future snice his weapon is there) algol snice if we going from start to end algol should be in there, at least we have azwel as a compromise.
Much as I like these, are you ever going to go back to doing this for games like Tekken and Street Fighter? Or just to shake things up a little, maybe warriors that are from games that are not fighting games but still feature a warrior like Dante or Link or Kratos. It's getting a little old seeing just Mortal Kombat and Soulcalibur.
So Algol was pointless in the plot of the game he was introduced, even more pointless in SCV, he probably won't return in SCVI (DLC maybe?) and the only way he contributed to the story was by creating Soul Calibur
That in itself is a very big contribution. The main thing behind Algol is that he's this legendary warrior who basically is the one who kickstarted this whole Soul Edge vs Soul Calibur fued. He's the reason the story behind SC is what it is. He was just very underutilized overall due to Soul Calibur not really being very plot heavy in game. Regardless, we cannot undermine his contribution as while on the surface it may not seem like much, he is the reason the SC plot is how it is.
tekeda is stronger then casii he beat ermake eron blake and raptild he also beat his fther and hanzo he aolso hold his owen va ketane and sindel kombine
