This is a video with a very obvious Western view of history. There are many errors. During the Qin Dynasty, China had already acquired the land in Lingnan. China first had territory in Xinjiang in the Western Han Dynasty, and continued to control it in the subsequent Tang and Ming dynasties. The Yuan Dynasty is not represented in the video. Taiwan has been under actual control by China since the Ming Dynasty.
No, have you find out that mainly every dynasty ended and started in the same way? The Chinese ancestors and emperors NEVER remember what happen to the dynasty in the past.
@@FletcherTheDDDue to internal decay and collapse, as well as various natural disasters, the whole dynasty was destroyed, and soon after, a new dynasty was established, and generation after generation, and again and again, it was all Han dynasty, except the Yuan dynasty and the Qing Dynasty, but their descendants were assimilated by the Han people, whether it was from the north or from the south, Once they come to China, they will be assimilated into the Han people, and any country established by the Han people will eventually become strong
@@FletcherTheDD In fact, the Chinese began to record their history in writing 4,000 years ago. Every dynasty in ancient China had special historians to record their history, and there was also a great deal of writing that people in ancient China usually wrote that was passed down to later generations. Every later dynasty knew the history of the past very well.
The north of the Great Wall is not Chinese territory. It was ruled by Mongols, Manchurians, and Koreans. Qin Shi Huang built the Great Wall to block the so-called Northern Orangkai. Later, China was conquered by the Mongolia and also Kim(金) Dynasty founded by descendants of korean Kim Ham-bo. Manjuwonryugo (滿洲源流考), compiled during the Qianlong Emperor of the Qing Dynasty, also reveals that the national name 金(kim) Dynasty is also derived from the family name 金(kim)of King of Silla(ancient korea). Also china was ruled by the Manchurians for 300 years(Qing dynasty) Sugihara, a professor who published "Japan's Bronze Age from Korea," said, "The Bronze Age came to Japan from 100 BC to AD50, the end of Korean Bronze Age society. In Japan, the Iron Age and the Bronze Age were handed down at the same time during the Yayoi period, and the Bronze Age was only used for ancestral rites, so it seems that it went straight to the Iron Age without going through the Bronze Age." Around 100 BC - Ancient civilization began in Japan when Koreans landed with iron weapons in Japan, where primitive people in the Stone Age lived. Japanese history is the history of the Korean people "High-tech science has proven historical truths that no one has ever told you. In other words, Koreans moved to Japan and founded the ancient civilization of Japan. Although traces of the Yayoi civilization, which ended Japan's primitive era and opened up an ancient society, appear throughout the Japanese mainland, it is widely accepted as orthodox that it originated in the northern part of Kyushu by the descendants. The study made it clear that the Yayoi people are descendants of people from the southern part of the Korean Peninsula." The Han Chinese along with Vietnam, were grouped in a different lineage, showing genetic differences from Koreans. O2b: This type can be said to be the core of Koreans' unique Y chromosome. It accounts for 37.3 percent of Koreans, but is rarely found in China. O2b is mainly distributed in Japan (31.9 percent) and Manchu (3.8 percent) outside of the Korean Peninsula, so O2b can be said to be a unique gene of Koreans and Japanese people "direct ancestors of korean are members of the ancient Asian and Tungus ethnic group that migrated from Siberia in the Neolithic Age, and linguistically belong to the Altai ethnic group." "In addition to the Yayoi (Yamato people) of the Doraein line who crossed from the Korean Peninsula, there are also the Ainu lineal descendants of the Jomon people of the indigenous people of the Japanese archipelago." Japanese civic group claims, "It is the same as the annexation of Korea and Japan, reunification of East and West Germany." 2018-11-2008:30 A report was sent to the U.N. Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination in Korea to demand "correct the fabrication of facts in Korea." At the time of the annexation of Korea and Japan, the Japanese ruling class thought that they were unified.they granted equal rights to Koreans through "Korea and Japan are One" policy(內鮮一體). In addition, a huge amount of 30 percent of Japan's total budget was poured every year for the modernization of Joseon. The lives of Koreans have become so abundant that the population, which had remained at the level of 10 million without population growth for 600 years during the Joseon Dynasty, doubled during the Japanese colonial era. "During the colonial period, Joseon's population grew by 12.6 million people, about 69 percent of whom, 8.7 million, were within the Korean Peninsula and 31 percent were flown to Manchuria and Japan"
@@neois3 i mean yeah mistakes were made but that's only like 1 minute out of the 16 minutes that were historically accurate i mean no offense but you can't do any better (respectfully)
@@SuperChaoGG Creating a video requires a significant amount of time and effort, as well as the gathering of a vast amount of information. Especially when it comes to producing videos about complex subjects like Chinese history, there is a possibility of some inaccuracies, but overall, I think it's acceptable.
12:43 I love how you add Burmese getting three shots from British because Myanmar and British have three Major wars and after that Burma lost and plotted something else but Anyway Qing Dynasty and Taungoo Empire are still standing after getting shot. They didn't surrender even to the end.
Haven't started watching the video yet but I randomly clicked into the middle parts of the video and got to say it looks promising! As a Chinese, I'm hyped to see how well this video actually is. Just expressing my awe beforehand!
How can you, a Myanmar person, support China when the reason the Myanmar military kills thousands of innocent citizens and stays in power is because the Chinese Communist Party supports them? I'm really curious.
Countries in close proximity to each other has been squabble over territory, origins, culture, character, etc... Each country will say that its neighbors are the worst.
It's a very good vedio if you are interested in Chinese history. However, I have to say that there are lots of mistakes and could be a little confusing sometimes. For example, after the collapse of Tang empire, there are successors that claims themselves to be "Tang", which didn't have much relationship with Tang empire. But they are using the same ball in this vedio. I don't think that it is correct. And the "Tang" in north (which is known as "Hou Tang" 后唐) is actually founded by the kingdom of Jin, instead of annexing it. And this kingdom of Jin is totally different from the latter Jin (known as "Hou Jin"后晋), which is one of "the Five Dynasties".
@@user-gf7eu5ys5c in fact they are the same character, because those who use 唐 as their name thought they are the heir of the first 唐. in historian's view, they might be named in後唐、南唐or something else, but formally they all named the same word at their time. btw, the last name of leaders of these dynasty is 李(Lee).
@@user-dy1xe6xf8e I disagree with your idea. The ancient Chinese history I have studied does not propose a direct relationship between the rulers of the Later Tang and Southern Tang dynasties and the rulers of the Tang dynasty. As for surnames, they can be changed. Of course, the father and son of Li Cunxu and Li Keyong in the Later Tang Dynasty may have a blood relationship with the rulers of the Tang Dynasty
Zhi li 直隶 meant directly affiliated to central government so during 1911-1920 it should control the region from beijing to northern jiangsu and including shandong
this is a china history video , however lost many details about its neighbors, thats a pity but understandable, they are not the main character in this video
Pretty good video. Good job! The only thing I noticed, which isn't even an error, but maybe it would deserve something like a written clarification, is that the Xia Dynasty, still as of today, isn't clear if it really existed or was only a legend born during the Zhou Dynasty. The research is still ongoing but for now we still haven't a clear answer, differently from the Shang Dynasty and Zhou Dynasty which were proven archeologically and even with some written documents contemporary from their periods.
@@MS_XIONGbao there is indeed the possibility, as I said. The zone was obviously already inhabitated during that period and there were also cities from that period. On that there is no doubt. One of the problems for example is to show without any doubt that these urban findings really do represent a single polity or not and instead at the time there were various Chinese polities and not a single Xia Dynasty. Or another problem is why not only there also no written record or mention found from oracle writing from the period of the Shang Dynasty, or anything which makes them consider a successor to the Xia, and it's only mentioned later, during the Zhou Dynasty such a dynasty. But again, these are only doubts. Maybe the sites are indeed a representation of the Xia Dynasty and not of early separate polities. Or also, at least the last period of that phase represented by the archeological findings, was already the beginning of the Shang Dynasty. Or also maybe during a part of this period there were separate polities and later emerged a single Xia Dynasty. And regarding the problem of lacking documentation from the Shang, maybe there are other reasons as of why there isn't written documentation about the Xia during the Shang Dynasty. Maybe they were trying to erase it or at least hide it for some reason. Or maybe simply there are written sources abou the Xia from the Shang Dynasty period but simply were not able to find, as of now. Maybe in the next years it will be found a more exaustive proof to link the archeological sites found at Erlitou with the Xia Dynasty.
I really liked the background music starting from 13:24. Could you please tell me the name of the song? It seems like It's not included in the summary section for the music.
In fact, the Communist Party's acquisition of the Northeastern region during the civil war was not as easy as shown in the video. It seemed that it was simply obtained from the Soviet Union. In fact, the Soviet Union seemed to be more supportive of ROC during the civil war. After Japan surrendered, almost all the major cities in Northeast China were handed over to KMT.
You are wrong about this. The support from the USSR was very serious. Everything was given to the Chinese Communists. More than a thousand people with USSR citizenship died in the first year of the civil war in China. Yes, there were disagreements with Mao, but not with the party itself. There was training, weapons and political support.
The only apparent mistake is that Tajikistan is misplaced (too west compared to China, making it looks like China annexed Tajikistan), but the rest is perfect! Nice vid.
How can you be sure it’s perfect tho? It’s far from perfect but still very accurate most of the part. I assume you think it’s perfect because you know detailed history about a certain place. That doesn’t mean everything else is perfect. I’m Korean, and I can see many errors in the video regarding the Korean Peninsula. But I don’t say “it’s perfect except this or that” because first of all it’s not true since I don’t know about other areas, and second you are spreading misinformation by commenting this.

On the contrary, the Japanese army did military operations against Mongolia and the Soviet Union, that is, the Battle of Nomenham, but the Japanese failed.
Nepal: *fought ww2 and had a civil war in 1996* Bhutan: *Had an operation called Operation All Clear in 2003* You forgot the 2 landlocked nations as they also had wars and operations
10:34 You misunderstand the map for Korea. The Qing Dynasty attacked Korea not for absorption or annexation. It was an attack to establish relations because Korea interfered with the Qing Dynasty's occupation of Ming. During the Qing Dynasty, The Qing government was in charge of Mongolia, Tibet, and Uyghur-related affairs by the Ministry of Home Affairs, while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was in charge of affairs such as Korea, Ryukyu, and Thailand. As a result, Qing's treatment of Korea was no different than it was during the Ming Dynasty, after the Qing Dynasty had complete control over China.
north korea was apart of china, korea and japan are satilite state. Their food, language, culture and way of managing their country are all from china. Even the korean flag was made by china then edited by british. Korea's capital used to called han, referring to the chinese ethlinicty. What is today modern-day Seoul was first occupied in 554 and called "Hanyang" -- a name used for Seoul ever since. In 1068, King Munjong made Hanyang one of several regional sub-capitals, and when the Yi Dynasty overthrew the Koryo ruling house in 1392, Hanyang was renamed and became the capital two years later.
by the way, sushi, kimchi, are from china. Even the langage, in the korean war, koreans fled to china. Now they have 2 million decendents in china, they speak korean and use the original korean with chinese characters, south korea stoped using chinese only recently. And the 2 million chinese who speaks korean their korean is 30% with chinese characters.
