Outstanding ! This should be required learning for all city employees. I'm thinking specifically of police and fire academies. What wonderful history to share with the citizens and useful way to open dialogue.

Growing up and listening to WTIC's morning and afternoon traffic reports, the announcers would frequently refer to back-ups on I-91 and onto the "Whitehead-Conlan Highway" but I never knew who they were, so thank you Dan for that information.

My playground as a kid growing up. Watched raw sewage flow from the Park River into the CT River in the 60's . Broke both wrists falling off a swing tied to I-91
