This is a brief history of Fullerton California. There is so much more to look at and explore in Fullerton. This is just scratching the surface.

Your welcome, I lived on North Woods from 1976 to 1990. My grandparents bought the house in the 60's. I wish they never sold it in 1993

That’s amazing, my brothers and I also graduated from FUHS. 😂 in fact, I am your brother. Pretty interesting to see the old stomping grounds. Too bad Angelo and Vinci pizzaria isn’t there anymore. One of my earliest childhood memories was seeing a wrecking ball knock down the Pacific Electric bridge over Harbor Boulevard. As a kid I thought I had just missed being able to ride the trolley, it wasn’t until much later that I found out the trains had stopped almost 20 years before I was born, and the bridge had been empty for 25 years. There is a nice picture of the bridge at the mortuary at that corner.

good vid. i think the school and fox theater are left over from a previous unknown civilization. the nearby college has three domed buildings which are old world buildings.

Amazing video!!!! We moved to Fullerton almost 10 yrs ago and love it here. I’ve read ostrich eggs for breakfast which was a good extensive source for Fullertons history but you definitely had good gems of info as well! We need another video for sure… do you have any info on the east side of Fullerton? I live in one of the townhouses here and think this was added housing for CSU people. Lots of school staff have lived here, they’ve since either moved or passed since the time I’ve been here.

Thank you, Ostrich Eggs was required reading in Fullerton elementary school in the 70's and 80's, so I know it well and have a copy lol. I plan on doing more Fullerton content since I grew up there and it will always be home. I can look into the east side. I use to run cross country and track for FUHS and we would run all over the east side, I think mostly to pick on Troy High lol. My next Fullerton video ivwas going to walk my old stomping grounds and tell what once was there. It will be a little more modern history. Euclid to Harbor, Golden Hill to Commenwealth and everything in between.

Outstanding video, Learn a lot more that what's online. I live in Fullerton as well and would like to make a suggestion about a video. Can you look into the history of Fullerton and surrounding areas relating to the KKK? I live in a property that once housed a known KKK member so I did some searching and found out a lot about the organization and their doings. Thank you

Great town with a few skeletons in the closet. Lots of Police abuse of Hippy types and people of color from the 50's - 70's and maybe even beyond.Tendency of Police to abuse some citizens and tell elected Officials to F off. This still an issue -- just watch their City Council meetings. If you are Conservative and pro Cop you might never experience this but it existed in spades - till the 1980's. But on the plus side, pretty decent schools, some great architecture, respect for it's history. Very nice and weird little Equestrian area in a high end neighborhood in central/north Fullerton. Prior to the new pot laws get you didn't want to get caught smoking pot in Hillcrest Park...lol
