I agree. I don't really like his change in personality in Tekken 6. That personality would fit someone like Kazuya, but not Jin. I believe it's said that the reasoning behind this change in personality is due to the Devil Gene in him slowly surfacing and taking him over. But yeah, I liked his personality in Tekkens 3-5 more when he was more humble. He was still a lone wolf who followed his destiny and kept his friends away from him (in fear of them possibly getting hurt), but he also still showed that he cared for them.

I think the origin of the devil gene is not the Mishima bloodline but Kazumi's(Heihachi's wife), think about it, Jinpachi(Heihachi's father) didn't have the devil gene, he was possessed, Heihachi doesn't have it either but Kazumi does and so does Kazuya, maybe Kazuya inherited it from his mother and that might be the reason why Heihachi killed Kazumi and might also explain why Heihachi threw Kazuya off a cliff when he was a child(you know aside from that other reason of proving him as a worthy successor), Jin inherited the devil gene from Kazuya(although not directly) which prompted Heihachi to try to kill Jin and we all know what happens next, also, the point that I think is the most important is that Lars is the son of Heihachi but with a different woman and I think that's the reason why Lars doesn't have the devil gene(because he is not related to Kazumi). What do you guys think?

Jin has been and always will be my favorite character in Tekken but it makes me wonder, if he will ever be free of the devil and go back to the way he used to be. I can only imagine what Jun would think of him if she saw her son the way he is now. As much as Jin doesn't want to admit it, he is becoming more like Kazuya and Heihachi

Jin is a badass character but his story is so sad, which makes it more of a reason to like him. Jin literally just wants things to go back to the way they were, he really only likes his mother (in the family) and Xiaoyu, and he’s just trying to make things right at every turn. That’s a lot on someone. I have this strange feeling that, when Jin defeats Kazuya, we’ll see him cry for the first time because of the bullshit he’s been through. //The shittiest part about this is that my family is literally like his, all we need is a Devil Gene.

Great vid man, I've always liked Jin for his change of fighting styles, being a martial artist myself I can appreciate his growth. Tekken 6 took a different direction that I have to admit I wasn't too fond of at first. I'm looking forward to what will happen in Tekken 7.

He has beaten all of other Mishimas Proof: Tekken 3 - Stage 8 - Beat Heihachi Tekken 4 - Honmaru - Beat Kazuya Tekken 4 - Honmaru - Beat Heihachi again Tekken 5 - Final Stage - Beat Jinpachi Now decide!! Plus he was defeated by Lars in Tekken 6 but that does not make Lars strongest as he has not defeated other Mishimas

and then Jin will save the world by defeating and permanently end the mishma bloodline for good on tekken 8

Jin is like the hero who is hidden by the world around him. He has a good heart, but his entire life is about pain and suffering, losing so much of that which he loves that even Anakin Skywalker would feel pity for him. The Devil Gene is like a poison that keeps him from being anything he wants to be.

TBH, Jin Kazama is my most favourite go to characters in the game. His an awesomely strong character, I did not really like the bad guy story of Tekken 6 either but somehow I knew that he had an ulterior motive, In Tekken 7 even if Jin is mostly in a coma, Glad he is a playable character in Tekken 7 even if he does not appear so much in the story and I cannot wait for his story in Tekken 8.

Lei told kim the real truth about her family. She was devastated to learn the truth. She began to find answers. In 1999 she met julia chang & they become friends until julia finds out that kim is kazuya's long lost daughter, kim told her that she didn't remember anything. in 2001 she met her childhood rival Kumi. When the king of iron fist tournament 4 was announced, kim challenges her to the fight and want to show her what her fighting styles looks like. She met heihachi and confronted him about her family. Kim decided to took her anger out on heihachi. She met her brother Jin and asking him by saying "are you my brother, we both born and we both had the same blood, and jun is my mother too" jin being to walk away without saying anything. She met christie in the tournament. She decided to challenge her. Kim won the tournament. Kim become friends with christie. Kim wants julia and christie to help her bring her memories back. She still looking for some answers. Including she wants to destroy mishima zaibatsu, she met Asuka & asking her "are you my half-sister & my cousin" asuka had no idea what she thinks. Kim actually told her so she can remember something when she lost her memory, asuka helping her finding the truth. She finds out that jin is gone. She was super devastated about he was gone. Kim confronts heihachi Until heihachi reveals to kim, that Kazumi is her grandmother. Kim wants to find kazumi so she can stop her because she wants to put a end to this.
