I think you did a great job with this video. The history around here is amazing. My first visit here was in 1975. I liked it so much I retired here. Thanks for all your effort.

We have owned property on Drift Creek since 1976. We love this history. I’m curious about missionaries who came to Lincoln City in the early day to the loggers and fisherman, particularly the Adventists, as I’ve been aware of the Drift Creek community of misty Adventist the land which we own was named for these early missionaries. Gorton Road was named for the Gortons. We also own Parnell (ie?) family.

I haven’t been able to find much, I do know up to the 1920’s there were A lot of missionaries that came and went but could not find names or faces. I wish I could own a property with some history but my house was built in the 80’s :( nothing cool here, lol.

Very interesting video, Josh. I’m sure it took quite some time to research. You presented it well and it was easy to follow. On another note, are those model cars on your shelves? If so, they are lovely. Even if they aren’t model cars, they are still lovely!

I believe that the grass carp were integrated into the lake around 1986-1988 rather than 1993. 1993 may have been a second edition.

did not know of the earlier stocking of carps, I believe it has been 3 times so far and I believe they are doing it again this year if they haven't already

Redo this video without the background music! Couldn’t hear much of what seems to be very interesting info on your locale.

I did have the music audio set to -30 and mute is -55 but wanted to present it as a story. Appreciate the input and can better it next time ;)
