My favorite take on her strength was during Slott’s run, where we learned She-Hulk’s strength was a multiple of Jen’s. So if Jen worked out and became stronger, She-Hulk would become stronger as a result.
It's not a multiple or a fixed correlation. Her strength as Jen is exponentially relative to her strength as She Hulk but if base Jen who doesn't lift has a She Hulk form that can lift trillions of tons then a Jen who undergoes intense combat and weight training is that much more powerful on a hulk scale. So if base Jen strength = 5 then her Hulk Jen form is like 1,000,000 then buffed Jen's strength is 50 then her Hulk form DOESN'T get a flat 10x multiplier. She gets exponentially stronger so instead of having like 10,000,000 strength as She Hulk she somehow jumps to like 900,000,000,000 or something ridiculous. The point is the strength boost isn't a simple multiplier it's waaaaaaaay bigger
I was first introduced to the She-Hulk in the animated series of the Incredible Hulk outside the comics and when I was small, I thought she was called "green lady"
"People you fight to protect sometimes fear and hate you. And it's the hardest part because sometimes to protect what you love, you have to walk away from it." -She-Hulk
I can't believe that this ignored John Byrne's run on She-Hulk. He was the writer and artist of the Fantastic 4 when he put her in with the team. Byrne's writing gave her the outgoing personality and permanent transformation in the She-Hulk graphic novel. He also wrote and drew the Sensational She-hulk series which broke the forth wall before Deadpool. Dan Slott? John Byrne.....give credit where its due.
I was going to say, " "Dan Slott also injected a lot more comedy in the 2005 She-Hulk Series...." So...did you just read the first issue of John Byrne's Sensational She-Hulk then stop?" My favorite scene from a comic book ever is when She-Hulk tears the page to get further ahead in the story and runs across a fake ad for Mile High Comics which was in every comic book you bought in the late 80s. Have you ever read the whole fake ad? It's the funniest thing I've ever seen in comics.
The closest thing Marvel has ever had to naturally having a Wonder Woman. She was breaking the fourth wall before Deadpool even existed (and in some cases did it better because her fourth wall-breaking was on the level of Looney Tunes). Plus, she...awakened something in a lot of people.
I'm glad that mcu she hulk still looks like she hulk and not just Hulk but girl. The hulk is Rage personified and Rage is unmanageable whereas she hulk is confidence personified and confidence is manageable
I loved She-Hulk in AGENTS of SMASH cartoon. That show is where I learned of A-Bomb and Skaar also. It was a great cartoon in my opinion I wish they were still doing it.
@@megatronusorionpax4900 Just what one of the writers of She Hulk said....cause be a in the past thing? Or they wanted to throw people off. I just hope it's better then She Hulk, what a mess.
John Byrne's _Sensational She-Hulk_ run was Deadpool by way of _Ally McBeal_ & way ahead of it's time. It's been a weird missed opportunity for decades that David E Kelley never adapted it.
Speaking of She-Hulk, Can you do comic book origin of the She-Hulk villains like Nicholas Trask, The Grappler, Robert Doom, Clockwise, Ultima, The Living Eraser, The American Purity Foundation, Ruby Thursday, Adrenazon, Spragg the Living Hell, Behemoth, Volcana and Titania?
I dont suppose we will be getting absorbing man for this series? Him and Titania and kinda a pair being married, and a pretty healthy one at that. Actually makes them a super interesting pair, real relatable Bonnie and Clyde vibe.
Can you do history of the Elementals, Cyclone and Sandman along with Kurt Conners the Lizard, Rhino, Kraven the Hunter, Chameleon, Scorpion and the Human Fly along with Karl Fiers the Finisher, Alistair Smythe the Ultimate Spider Slayer, Living_Brain, and Prowler?
How long till you do history of America-Chavez, Speed and Wiccan since these Young Avengers played a major role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness? Can you please do history of them in honour of the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness?
You completely omitted John Byrne, who elevated the character from the background to the forefront by making her part of the FF. He also introduced the fourth wall breaking and the comedy which clearly had a big influence on the Disney+ series. Pretty glaring omission.
I love how they promoted this show, Call 1877 she hulk for a laugh. Qr code in like 1st episode like 6mins in. Fake tinder profile and a post credit scene. This show for 1st episode was amazing and I loved it. 😍 I wanted to see this show since announcement.
ngl, my first encounter with she hulk in marvel was through marvel super hero squad the game. I was like 7 or 8 when I got that game and thought she was an interesting character. She was paired with the hulk in one of the levels. It was like a nightmare level about cake for some reasons but yeah she hulk there was alright as the first look into the character.
I wish heroes like she hulk and moon knight got what Netflix did with the R rating this whole kid friendly thing disney is doing just does work for everything and it ruins more of what i like about the character. The series on disney is disappointing for a number of reasons but not staying true to the source is definitely high up.
Realizing that episode 1 of She Hulk is like a reversal of roles from the comics origins with similar settings Easter eggs and aspects to the original . Instead of Trask being after Jen , a Sakaarin carrier craft is after the Hulk. For example
Who do you think is better and would win between She-Hulk and Red She-Hulk? Do you think we will see this taking place in the MCU? Can you do history of Red She-Hulk,Amadeus_Cho, Skarr and A-Bomb?
I Absolutely Love She Hulk in the comics MCU and in cartoons the first marvel superhero to break the 4th wall I can't wait to see all 9 episodes of She Hulk in Disney Plus
