I used to love going to forest park,i remember when tower square was baystate west,i love this city,i lived in boston 4 6 years and all i wanted to do was come back,i live in westfield right now though i often still go to Springfield....

Loved going to Johnson's Bookstore in the 60s & 70s!!

😭 It's sad to see such a great city before become corrupt and go downhill and become one of the dangerous cites in Massachusetts

I grow up here in this town but nothing is the same why put down all beautiful old buildings why not live every thing like before so beautiful nothing is the same every thing looks different but I still love my town ❤ always ❤

As a former resident of Hungry Hill, yes, Springfield has corruption issues with the Mayor.. But it is a good town.
