That got my interest too. After world war I Turkey didn't join any war so all it did was watching. After Greece put it's gun too it did the same. Then the competition started.

Hope this helps! :)
@Ottoman Sultans Were Eastern European All the world is PeRsiAn. Chinese are persian, Japaneses are persians 🇮🇷🏳️🌈💩💪how can they be persian without marrying persians? All of the emperors on earth married with other ethnicities women. Then , british Empire and german Empire were russian because mothers of those emperors were russian.
@Ottoman Sultans Were Eastern European LoL, ironically all of the slavs look different. Bulgarians look like gypsies but russians look like Vikings. Real slavs are polish . Rest are assimilated people. Real persians look like tajiks. People of iran are assimilated arabs .
But how is it possible to make it that accurate (even though I think those kinds of channels with over 100k are just bots converting Wikipedia into a video)
More than 6 empires of Turkic origin ruled Balkans Hunnic Empire, Avar Khaganate, First Bulgarian Empire, Arpad dynasty of Hungary, Cuman dynasties of Second Bulgarian Empire and finally the OTTOMAN EMPIRE :-)
@@oneitalian6747 If the Western "democratic" world bombs a foreign country and creates a controlled country, it's okay, but if Russia helps the territory secede, then this is aggression and a threat to the whole world. Do I understand correctly?
I love how Napoleonic France just comes destroys the place then goes off screen (attacks russia) and then sadly shows up again retreating of screen again
@jordano bruno My country doesn’t recognise North Fakedonia as a country cause the previous government gave them the name of one of the most historical regions in my country
@jordano bruno All of them are Serbian land the 1/3 of Balkan region (land) belongs to Serbia not even Albania was supposed to exist half of it is Greek land the rest Serbian also big part of Bulgaria belongs to Greece as well as Romania
@jordano bruno more than 4m Greeks were shouting to the Greek government in the main roads of Athens also more than 3m ppl in Thessaloniki where shouting that their ancestors are not Slavs the 3/4 of the Greek population was in the roads they stopped working stopped everything from they routine just because Alexis Tsipras with Prespes in 2018 gave the name of Makedonia to Slavs like it was nothing
I love how this is made! In my opinion countryball map timelines work best without a linear time scale. When the year counter in the corner controls what’s happening, the countryballs end up standing around a lot. The animation goes smoother when you allow yourself to fast-forward through boring parts.
You could still do that with a year timer. You don't have to have the exact same amount of time for every year, you can 'make' some years longer for the sake of a smooth and fitting animation. Although I do agree with, knowing each year is useful :/
4:31 Ottomans:this is all my personal property all Europeans: HuUUAAaaAaAHh! Ottomans: Did a car hit me? Old Ottomans: First, the car hasn't been invented yet, Second, this wouldn't have happened if we were ☹️
At 0:37, you can see above the Byzantine Empire the flag of the Gepids, and the reason I know this is because I've spend the last hour trying to find it. I began by reverse searching a rough approximation of the flag I made in MSPaint, and got back nothing. Next, I went through several lists of extinct European state flags hoping to eventually find it, but again, nothing. I then tried to find the flag of the larger state they were invaded by later in the video, the black horse archer on a green background, and after parsing through several websites about horse racing I found its origin: it's the flag of the Avar Khaganate. I then tried to find a list of the states the Avar Khaganate invaded/conflicts it was involved in, which at first didn't get me anywhere until one link said hostilities between them and the Byzantines started in the year 557. So, I tried finding a map of Europe in the year 557 and found nothing, and even if I had old maps tend to suck anyway. I tried looking through the history of the Pannonian Avars, and while the Gepids were included in the Wikipedia article, because I'm a fucking moron I didn't notice them and assumed there was nothing useful on the page. Another source quoting a book mentioned the Avars settled near the Danube after about a decade of fighting, but didn't mention WHO they fought with. So, I changed strategy and tried to find a list of the states which were historically situated around the Danube, and I found a map of the Kingdom of the Gepids, which also included on its border with the Byzantines the city of Sirmium, and the reason why this matters is because by the point I had seen Sirmium mentioned like, five separate times, so I instantly knew I was on the right track. FInally, I searched up flags of the Gepids, and found it. Was it worth it? Not really. The funny part is this: I found a Reddit post with no comments only a few images below the Gepid flag asking whether it was historically accurate, and it was a screenshot of this very video, and of this exact flag. So, now the question was, is this flag even real? The only place I've found it is on the wiki page for Freeciv, which is a computer game for the 90'. Trying to reverse image search it returns the London Whitechapel Station for some reason, a bunch of unrelated images, and the link to the SAME FANDOM WIKI PAGE. This the point where I completely lost it. Is this flag real? Did the Kingdom of the Gepids even have a flag? I have no clue anymore.
2000 years? Change it to eternity, this land wont see peace unless only one or two poeple groups remain. Yea I'm talking of genocide, no alliance or imperial unity is gonna being peace
Serbia never attacted someone. For those who says that WWI bs of Serbia is incorrect. WWI would happen either way. Since Austro-Hugaru wanted war for long time, but they needed exuse. So they send France Ferdinad in Sarajevo to mock Serbia. And that when Gavrilo Princip killed him. Then they send 9 shitty demande for Serbia to do if they didn't want war Serba did 8 of it, but Austro Hugaru attacted either way.🙄🙄🙄 Sorry for my garbige English.
7:10 At that time, the Istanbul government in the Ottoman Empire surrendered and accepted the Treaty of Sèvres, so the Forces in Ankara established the Ankara Government under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. God damn it, 2022 and there are still people in Turkey who want to establish the Ottoman Empire, bring Monarchy and Dictatorship and be ruled by sharia. Refugee Problem Economic problems not free press It is very painful that I am afraid of being arrested as I write this. Probably thanks to my Bulgarian Family and being Bulgarian I will get Bulgarian Citizenship and European Citizenship. I will study Economics or Medicine abroad and give myself and my children a more peaceful life because I am really tired and bored.
Yes pls, get out of here. People who fear us shouldn't stay here. If it affects your life so much why not become a refugee and go to AMERICA? Much better ya know.
it basically was (not sure if actually happened) a greek soldier was running to get a dog at the border of bulgaria and the bulgarian soldier shot the greek soldier thinking he was attacking him (commented this just to let people know what happened cuz yes)
It`s not war. It is more like incident. Because of one dog and one greek captain who was trying to return the dog to the Greek camp and did not realize that he had entered the Bulgarian territories and because of a misunderstanding they shot him. This incident is known as the Petrich incident.
@@alexivanov1711 the Greeks wanted to start a war regardless of the excuse, Bulgaria did not, and UN steped in for first and last time in history to properly do it's intended job.
Man, I wanna see you do the history of the region from like, the year 200 bc. This is way too well made. There are no complaints. A very very specific and relatively legendary set of dutchies belonging to the First Bulgarian Empire could have been depicted. Namely, the Dutchy of Gelou (AKA Transylvania), Glad (AKA Banat) and Menumorut (AKA Crisana). Now, these are not obligatory to be included, since they were simply lands of Bulgarian and Romanian warlords, and many Hungarians deny their existence. Your simplified depiction of this history is fantastic. As a romanian history nerd, I know leadership and vassalage changed more than this video depicts, but showcasing that in the video, and the brief months of foreing rule, independence, or varying vassalship would be totally autism inducing. I love this for what it is. Accurate and simple!
Grek history😂😂😂😂 where is the Greek history from 1400-1800 that nothing is known neither prince nor king nor castle. only Ali pash Tepelena (Albanian alone) who fought the Turks and showed them the border, Sanjak Ioannina, and We Albanians of Albania who have fought from time to time 1444-1479. we were not only attacked by the Ottomans, the Serbs also started with the Montenegrins, our country is attacked so much that they all coveted it until they tore us apart and we are left with this small space that is today called Albania
