@@xxbeth_gamingxx8693 I would like to visit Europe one day... seems like a nice place :3 Edit: I mean, I've seen images. and vids. Seems like a beautiful continent.
Except it was Zionist leadership that accepted the plan while Arab leadership rejected and subsequently launched a war against Israel upon its creation
@@Steven-ly9ei any small change is seen as unnecessary at first. That's basically an aspect of British culture. Plus a continental currency would cause issues if one nation had issues so it was also good to stay out of it, can't have Germany bailing everyone out can they?
but yeah ig quarks just appeared one day even though if there was nothing there cant be temperature because temperature measures SOMETHING not NOTHING, if u cant explain this to me then you are trusting a youtube video over basic logic
@@user-bt4hi4yn4r it's just what the current science thinks, also, it's not that there was nothing, because nothing means the absence of everything. Before the universe there was nothing and everything that ever has been, ever will be and that can't even happen and at the same time it all didn't exist, it's a pretty crazy concept. It is not that something just appeared out of nowhere, it's that time and space were created from something we cannot explain.
15:04 "so britain tried to get them addicted to opium, which worked actually, then china made it illegal and dumped it all into the sea, so britain threw a hissy fit" LMAO
yeah in history we spend an hour and a half learning about very specific useless information, but this man gave us a knowledgeable lesson on everything that has ever happened in the universe in under 20. minutes
I remember when I first got to know about this video... at the time I didn't speak English at all. Then I promised to myself I'd learn it just so I could watch this masterpiece. Here I am a few years later. Every minute of this journey was worth it.
"6:00 you can make a religion out of this" "6:34 you can make a religion out of this" "7:52 you can make a religion out of this" "9:35 you can make a religion out of this” “14:30 you can make a reli- no don't"
@@sandeepchaudhary1239 Basically Robespierre got real spicy with controlling the whole revolution and shit and made a full on religion about himself, called the "Cult of the Supreme Being", everyone was like "Wth no" and cut his head off after shooting him.
Oddly enjoyable to read through the comments. We got people who've found this video for the first time, people who have come back for a while, folk talking about their favorite parts of the video, religious folk leaving their opinions about the video (primarily the beginning), individuals stating how much more effective this has taught them than school, etc, etc. Oh, and don't forget the occasional religious brain-rot. Not everybody is too happy about people with varying beliefs, but it is what it is.
For sure. I think this is one of the best ways a video has brought people together. My friends and I loved this video the exact month it dropped in May of 2017. So I do feel some nostalgia for it, although so much of it reigns true today and always will.
can’t stop coming back here. it’s so fun to point out the little things you’ve learned more in depth just to realize this one video could explain it all way quicker. such a classic and always a favorite
I wish someone made a comprehensive playlist with videos going in depth about everything mentioned in this video. I just watched a movie length video about the cambrian explosion which made me think of how every 5 seconds in this video probably has some long educational video on RU-vid.
Totally. You can search up AP World History Review and get videos reviewing the most important things that are mentioned in this video and more. The best beardos Freemanpedia and Heimler's History have short and entertaining videos on this biggest things in history from the year 1200 to modern day. Crash Course can also be good. As for in-depth explanations, your best bet may be documentaries and Britannica.
I quote the following FAR too often: 0:11 “HOW did this happen?” 2:13 “Thaaat’s land!” 2:44 “taste the Suuun” 5:02 “Sociiiety” 8:29 “HELL YEAH, now we got BUSINESS” 13:53 “Stolen!”
After many times watching this video, I spotted one mistake. At 14:24 it is said that Louis XIV got his head cut off during the french revolution, this is however not true(as I am sure someone already pointed out). Louis XIV, also known as The Sun King, died in 1715 as an absolute monarch. Louis XVI is the king that the video is referring to.
littleferrhis Then After u have 34 seconds To Panic and realize none of it taught u what u learn in school because school goes way to in-depth about everything...
I watched a 2 hour documentary in school about how Buddhism came to be. bill: sat under a tree for so long that he figured out how to ignore the fact that were all dying.
The world will be fine, it is people, and the other life on Earth that is screwed, and besides we know how to save it, there are just too many people unconvinced that the world is worth the effort to save.
I just visited my mother but I couldn’t stay because of stuff. Then I started to cry hard. Really hard. Then I turn to this video This video then helped me calm down. Thank you very much for existing
@@user-iz6if2gp8y That's the Habsburg family. For a few centuries they were extremely important for the balance of power in Europe. At some point various branches of the family owned Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Italy. Also parts of France. The rest of Europe felt threatened by them (for good reason, of course), and this led to various wars. On this level of detail the Habsburgs didn't have to be included, but it made sense as it's something a lot of people learned a lot about in school.
Why did I learn more from this than I have from the big box of people they call school that I went to for like ten years of my life? THIS IS AWESOME AND STILL REMAINS AWESOME TO THIS DAY
This one video has educated me more than 2 years of history classes have, in such a short amount of time too. Gotta love the memes as well! Peace, love, and history!
the US decided racism is bad, and the world agreed, except, south africa, Rwanda, Serbia, China, Iran, North Korea, Japan, Botswana, Egypt, Isreal, Palestine, India, Pakistan and Bangledesh, Haiti, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Armenia, Iraq, Yemen, Somalia, Libya, Sudan, Niger, and Nigeria. Just to name a few that still need to get on that boat.
@Mrwayneps3225 Japan lacks any law which prohibits racial, ethnic, or religious discrimination. The country also has no national human rights institutions. Also, as recently as 2017, the UN has denounced Nigerias leadership for threats and an ultimatum telling the Igbo people of northern Nigeria to flee their homes, and urging other Nigerians to destroy igbo or kill igbo people that do not flee. Something that has also happened recently in Lagos, as recently as last year, 2023. But you know, ignorance sure is bliss isn't it?
