In everyday conversation, we often say the words Jewish, Christian, and Islam. But do we know the origin of the words of these three words? Therefore, in this short article the author tries to explain it by explaining the origin of the words Jewish, Christian, Islam, and one more word, namely Sabi'in.

While Shabi'in according to its origin is a person who leaves his original religion and enters another religion, the same as the original meaning, namely apostasy; Therefore, when the Prophet Muhammad denounced the religion of his ancestors who worshiped idols, then upheld the ideology of monotheism, the Messenger of Allah was accused of being shabi' from the religion of his ancestors by the Quraysh.
