I'm from completely different part of the world (Poland), I have never been on a desert like this, I have never met any Native American and my interest in their culture is not very big, etc but I enjoyed watching this A LOT. And I felt real relief when it started raining :) Thank you for sharing this movie :)

I so enjoy these old films, and this topic is lush in History/Ancient History. There S so much truth in their stories and it just appears mythical to Modern Minds due to its more Ancient Descriptions. Blessings to the Hopi and Best Wellbeing to all ...

I just found out I’m Native American and my ancestors are part of the Hopi tribe 🥰 that explains why as a child I have always been very empathetic towards Native Americans and proud of what they accomplish

I appreciate this video but the narrator makes it seem like a tedious, drag to accomplish some of the stuff these people did.

THE DOGON People are descendants of the Proto-Manding people of Africa. The Dogon from Mali West Africa have a connection in America. It seems that the Hopi (one of the Pueblo Tribes) and the Dogon have similar clothing, ornaments, ceremonial masks and headdresses. The Hopi also paint their faces not similar but identical to the Dogon in West Africa. *SOURCE Conversation with Dogon Priest Hapw Bikbaye Inejnema on October 10, 2009

I know of no evidence showing that the Dogon and Hopi have ever met each other. Many unrelated peoples around the world share some similarities with something. I've seen photos of people in the Ivory Coast(west Africa) doing dances with cobras to bring about rain. The Hopi have a similar snake dance. But it's doubtful that either group has ever met.

There's no evidence of the Mayan connection, either? Just an anecdote like this one. Mayans and Dogons could be related; there is DNA evidence connecting all people.

We Pueblo’s are different. Different than any other native Americans. We are special. We are not from Africa. We know where we came from.
