The maps you are looking for as far as industry tracks and names of business are called SPINS. I have a set of this line from 1980 and 1950s. I have worked this branch my whole career and have extensive history and institutional knowledge.
The granite blocks laying alongside the tracks came from the Galveston jetty project in the 60s and 70s. The stone for the Capital was finished in the Wilikie wye and sent to Austin. Less weight to transport to Austin.
