History Of The Teen Titans 

Just realized the robin, aqualad, and kid flash were the original trio in the comics and the same original trio of Young Justice.

For me the main Teen Titans will aways be from the cartoon, those being Cyborg, Starfire, Beast Boy, Raven and Robin ( Dick Grayson), they are just to iconic to me, shame that same roster in the comics.

I grew up on the 2003 cartoon and it's easily one of my favorite series of all time, as well as my definitive Teen Titans lineup

Who miss the Teen Titans animated series?

Raven for me is the most interesting followed by cyborg, Starfire , beastboy, robin. its just my opinion

It occurs to me that if you introduced the first five teen Titans to somebody completely unfamiliar with the individual characters, and told them that one of them was called “Robin” and another was called “Speedy”, they would quite reasonably assume that the guy with the bow-and-arrow who dresses up in a red Robin Hood costume was “Robin”, and the guy whose defining characteristic was super-speed was “Speedy”.

I somehow managed to grow up with the 80s comic book versions, even though I'm a teenager.

The reason for the title change with issue #44 was because the direct sales version was introduced at the same time and it was titled the New Teen Titans. Also, after the issue where Jericho was formally inducted as a member, Tales began reprinting somewhat edited versions of the direct sales comic, which at times was a little more explicit due to the fact that it didn't fall under the code.

Man, I never knew the origin of the Teen Titans was so interesting!

Cartoon Network made a miss out of Teen Titans and Young Justice. They could kept both shows.

Finally,this is been what I've been waiting for for the last 3 years.I own lots of teen titans comics by Geoff Johns.And about the new 52,welcome to my world Arris.I was so upset about a few members.Eventually,when the rebirth has been going on the mood changed back to happy.

There were two concurrent Teen Titans series during Tales of the Teen Titans. One other was still the New Teen Titans, but printed on Baxter paper. A little confusing, because later the Tales series would reprint the Baxter series at some point.

Teen Titans 03 will always be my go-to team of Teen Titans. The og ones can still be in other adaptions but my fav will always be the 03 version. Though I do love when those other characters show up in the story.

Can you explain how Beast Boy and Raven are still in the Teen Titans in the newer Teen Titan movies even though Dick Grayson is now Nightwing and Starfire is the new leader.

I'm not much of a comic book fan, but I do like comic book movies (usually). "Justice League vs. Teen Titans" was the first movie that ever inspired me enough to go back and watch the cartoon series too (the '03-'06 series). I also thought that "Teen Titans: The Judas Contract" was really good, especially the parts when Robin (Damien Wayne) was interacting with Deathstroke. "The outfit said go for it." (Robin to Deathstroke) "I beat the crap out of him for being mouthy. Come on, you've all had the urge." (Deathstroke to the Titans.) And my personal favorite, "Hey papa, here's your pipe!" (Robin to Deathstroke)

It's kind of amazing how lame super heroes used to be. Back in the day the teen titans second or third gig was stopping jewellery store robbers. Jump to today when the same two that started teen titans starts young justice and immediately discovers that a cooperation had genetically created all kinds of creatures including a superman/Luther hybrid clone and freed him.

I want to see a teen titans line up like this Robin (Damian Wayne) Red Robin (Tim drake) Raven Beast boy Starfire Cyborg Impulse Blue beetle Miss Martian I want this cause it has a lot of fan favorites and iconic members with some newer members plus I want to see the Damian Wayne and Tim drake chemistry their both bat family and we don’t see too much interaction

I grew up in the 60s my two favorite comics were Teen Titans and Legion of Super Heros

Cool as always Arris .I can remember collecting "The New Teen Titans." way back in the day ,And Brother Blood and Deathstroke were some very cool villains from that time ,But seems Deathstroke has become more famous since his first appearance. in the comics .

He didn't explain that the Teen Titans started when the justice league decided it was more important for their sidekicks to handle their own hero path without guidance. The established 5 of all of the Teen Titan group(over 25 teen Hero's) to a high crime city to protect it. Kinda like when schools use to give kids an egg to test them for real life. Jump city was never in true danger as they outfitted the tower with Godzilla sized robot for just about anything. Deathstroke saw the potential of this group and created the H.I.V.E aka a group of teen villain wannabes with the sole purpose of stopping the Teen Titans from ever being true heroes. To keep his identity hidden from Robin. Because as he said only the original 4 Teen Titans know who he his. Takes on the persona Slade. Eventually using robin's morals against him. Robin may not have powers but he literally kicks cinderblock in the face and makes him stumble. When a few minutes earlier high tech rifles hit him and he didn't even flinch. In the end. Robin became NightWing and later died at the hands of the joker and Harley. Starfire went to protect her home planet which was waged in war and political distress. Staying to become the Queen. She was a princess and an alien. Both cyborg and Raven went to the justice league and did exactly what the justice league had formedthe Teen Titans for their replacements. Beast boy disappeared and later was seen as part of a circus act and later even as a zoo gorilla. Most likely a problem with feeling unattached to his more human like friends. It was a big deal in his comics books. Mostly from the doom patrol putting him down for always messing things up. Project Teen Titans disbanded and classified.

I miss the old teen titans 2004 show, that being said I simped for that version of Raven

Dude Damian Wayne as the leader of the teen Titans is so bad ass. I mean the kid is Batman mixed with a freaking ninja and him teamed up with Starfire and Raven will be so cool. The new 52 mostly wasn't my favorite cause it messed up everyone storyline. But DC rebirth is now the new storyline which I love.

I read that they didn't add Kid Flash in the Teen Titans tv show because they really wanted Cyborg, Robin, Beast Boy, Starfire, and Raven. Adding another boy would be too much. So Kid Flash wasn't seen until close to the end of the show, still not part of the team. The same would go for Aqualad. No Wonder Girl? Why?

DC started a new direct sales version of New Teen Titans (and Legion) and changed the newsstand books to the "Tales Of" titles.

I'm just gonna go ahead and say it, I haven't read any of the comics. Ever. I've been a major Batman fan for most of my life, but only the movies and games. Comics just weren't my thing. But reading into the universe and looking up easter eggs and whatnot, I came to love the DC Universe as a whole. I've watched many DCEU movies and shows and have found that I have many gaps in my knowledge of the mythos, because I haven't read any comics. Strictly speaking about Batman now, I know the plots and stories of The Killing Joke, A Death in the Family and a few others, but that's it. I know Dick, Jason, Tim and Damian have been Robins, but I know nothing about how they came and went and I know nothing about other Batfam members. I know this is a very long comment and kuddos if you've read this far, but is there anyone who knows how to maybe get into the comics, since there have been so many, I'm lost and don't really know what to do, lol. I'm sure shows like Titans and Young Justice would be even better to watch when I know about the stories the shows are based on. Considering Batman, I'm fairly knowledgeable on his villains and the like (which makes Gotham a great show), but I know nothing about the Batfamily, and I would love to know more. Anyway, sorry for taking up your time, lmao, just looking for some advice, I guess.
