6:05 'Only few historians consider Thohar Chand as founder 'Yes most Katyuri ended in 1398 , but Chand Vansh didn't emerged from here, yes it became powerful from then, but चंद वंश was already established by सोम चंद around 700 Ad, and they gave taxes to Doti Naresh, , Chand Dynasty is older than Pawar

Hi sir, I'm from Kerala and very interested in the history of Uttarakhand. Yours was the first I have watched through this perspective. I have had to take notes. Is the history of Uttarakhand taught to school students of government schools ? Can you make a video on the connection between ancient Dev Bhoomi and Southern India - like Adi Sankaracharya, the mutts of Mangalore and Karnataka, the similarities between some foods of UK and Southern India ( the practice of using rye tadka sweet dishes like arsa) and so on

Yes you are right! South India contributed many things to the culture of Uttarakhand. In some of our "jagars"( religious songs in praise of gods, demigods,dieties and heroes)..there is a mention of "dakshin Pradesh", which is southern India. Many castes are of south indian origin like 'lingwal' ( lingayats of Karnataka) and 'dimri'( namboodris of Kerala).the instrument named "hudka" is same as the instrument in Kerala called "edakya".And many more things.

@@greenyzac6777 nope! I don't but being a Garhwali from Uttarakhand. I do have interest in the culture, language and customs of Uttarakhand. So it's a research that I done by my own. You can check dd Uttarakhand for exploring more about Uttarakhand. Btw you are Malayalam speaker right? Can you tell me the meaning of "undo" in Malayalam ( I am just checking that is there any Dravidian word in our languages or not coz I found this word common in both Malayalam and my mother tongue which is Garhwali.)
