I didn't really think about Windows 10 having a start up sound, I've never heard it even after I first installed Windows 10 a couple years ago, I just thought they did away with the start up sound.
Wow-I didn't even know of the 10/11 sound effects! Also it's really fascinating hearing your interpretation of all of these-like I never considered how the Windows 98 startup sound would adapt to voices but you made it sound so good!

Amazing video as always. :) My favorite Windows sounds is Windows 98, NT 4.0, Longhorn Beta and Windows XP. Windows ME and 2000 used the same sound as far as I remember. I think that the NT 4.0 sound would've sounded amazing acapella. The Longhorn Beta would've sounded almost the same as the original as that sound already sounds acapella. I think that the Longhorn Beta sounds is the most beautiful Windows sounds I've ever heard.

It actually originated from a Windows XP theme made by Samsung back in somewhere in 2003. In conclusion: All builds of Longhorn uses Windows Xp sound scheme until the beta 2, when Microsoft started to use the new sound scheme, resulting the windows vista sound scheme.
Just yesterday, I wished MayTree would do the Windows95 intro My wish came true! They did perfect. I first heard this intro when I was 5 and it opened my world to computers forever.
