I truly love mine.... with a mini red dot on the top cover and a fixed stock it is consistent contender in subgun competition and a well-earned reputation for reliability and good ergonomics , different manual of arms than AR15/M4 but way better than many subguns IMHO
One *BEAUTIFUL* IMI Micro 9 that's so beautiful I bought an IWI UZI Pro UPP9S 9mm to take to the range instead of the Micro 9. The IWI UZI Pro ( non-threaded 4.5" barrel) will effectively fire ANYTHING that will fit in the freakin' chamber.
You can speed up or slow down cyclic rates by using modified bolts in open bolt gund. Add tungsten weights to slow and mill to lighten. My 22lr kit uses an aluminum bolt. High cyclic rates don't normally help hit probability but make it so you can't engage as many target between mag changes
I also have a M10/9mm, it's fun too but immediately wanted to slow it down. My Lage upper does that and updates the Mac platform with rails and a more practical rate of fire. That said i have more UZI time and i would trust my life to that UZI running 100% if i needed it
The israeli's used this gun on that hostage rescue mission. Where they landed at the airport and deployed an armoured vehicle. Im too lazy to google the info so do it yourself.
