I did that exact same ride, I mean exactly the same ride, about this time last year. The only difference was, I stopped at Between the Buns on my first pass by. I even stopped and took pictures the same places you did. There is an old fellow that lives across the road from the old single room church not far before you get back to the highway on Boswell Rd. He is worth talking to if you get a chance.

I bought a new to me 2013 bmw 1200rt about a month ago. My first trip was from New Orleans to Mena Arkansas. What an spectacular place to ride. The RT is comfortable on the highway and rips the mountain twisties. I am considering a CF to do off-road exploring. Nothing technical. It’s definitely an impressive machine. How is online and forums mechanical support? Has aftermarket manufacturers caught up with the CF?

Good to hear from you sir, congrats on your new ride. The 800MT has been out for a few years now so there is some aftermarket support for it but it will get better. CFMOTO has a lot of accessories as well for the bike. There are a lot of forums on this bike domestic and foreign, I belong to a couple... enjoy that new bike and keep safe out there... thanks for watching.. :)
