Here's how I beat it: Used Mirror Armor flying tera Corviknight with max Atk and Def and Shell Bell. Iron defense, bulk up, drill peck, and roost. Throw up an iron defense first turn. Once your stats are wiped clean, throw up two more iron defenses. Bulk up three times after that. Roost if you're below half health (this thing crits like a mother). Then drill peck and terastalize your birb to bring it down. Took me a few tries because it kept critting me. The mirror armor ability is what comes most in handy. It'll use triple arrows which can lower your defense, but mirror armor bounces that stat drop back at Decidueye.

I got it easily with Skeledirge unaware, spaming torch song. 252 S.Attack+Defese, 4HP. Item: Shell bell 1st turn: Will o wisp 2nd sunny day ->Spam Torch song. Get tera and reapply sunny day when it runs outs. Even when i was a little unlucky at start missing twice will o wisp and fell once for it, it was an easy win. Just keep the sunny day working, specially since you need to heal more at the last part when it attacks twice a row. Shadow claw isn't a threat matter when you tera or if it's burned. Some drops in defense doesn't matter wit the heals you got, but if you are worried go for another will o wisp when shield breaks . Thanks to unaware you don't have to care about it using sword dance.

I can confirm this works wonderfully. I was doing the exact same thing, except I didn’t think of burning it for a bit and always got very close to fainting or straight up fainted on the first turns. But as soon as you manage to stay alive for the first four/five turns, you are golden with this build (unless maybe Decidueye gets very lucky with crits near the end?) Edit: I didn’t even bother re-applying Sunny Day, by the time it goes away your damage output is so high you get healed to almost full health every turn. I guess you can save one or two turns if you want to farm the raid but, if you just want to clear it, it’s a mashing A simulator past the first two turns.

This strategy is great. It's the reason why Iron Moth also works extremely well here. Fiery Dance has 50% chance to increase your special compared to the 100% from Torche Song but Iron Moth can get a whopping 416 sp. at stat and acid spray increases this even more. Get the sun up yourself or someone else and this becomes trivial but the crocodile with unaware sounds juicy ngl

Personally, I can't get this one to work. It'll always go for Tripple Arrows before the shield breaks and while I can survive one, if it uses it twice in a row, which it's always done so far, I get KOed. So I'm without a Tera with the shield still up, which makes it impossible. Edit: Though it did work perfectly online. I ended up on a random team with another Skeledirge and a Ceruledge, and we accidentally managed to split up the set-up. So while I went for Sunny Day, the other Skeledirge hit with Will o Wisp. Ended up being a super quick raid!

@@carringtont7632 Seems like the rng can be very bad sometimes. I was playing yesterday and got 6 of 10 victories with it, but i worked in one safer fix for this and i managed to raise it to 9 of 10. 1st Will o wisp 2-> Torch song until shield breakes. 3-> Sunny day as soon shield breaks and get tera asap. 4.- Keep the torch song goes you can use some other fire attack with similar or more power when you max Sp. Attack. This fix made it so you don't have your sunny day ending until shield breaks and have a little more Sp. Attack when it gets to hitx2 or use Leaf Storm- Also to increase the chance of having NPC allies when it uses Leaf Storm which can sometimes kill you.

I used insect mew. Only abilitys i used were sworddance and leech life. Good thing is that it resets your stats in round one so you have to build up sworddance only one time up to +6.

If you can, get Taunt or get someone with Taunt. It really helps. Plus Acid Spray helps in this raid, too (since there's no calm mind spam).

I used my old Corviknight build from the 7-star Rillaboom raid, just swapped out Leftovers for Shell Bell and Roost for Taunt. It goes maybe a minute or two slower, but I never went down. Still a banger of a video and build, definitely will have to try it out.

If you use this strat, avoid having an Arcanine as a teammate, he does too much damage after you use acid spray and triggers the shield too early for you to use taunt the second time, so decidueye gets up swords dance and it's gg

Swap between steps 3 and 5 and you will defeat Decidueye even with Arcanine as a teammate.

I had a pretty easy time with Arceus Poison too, so I think Poison or Flying is the way to go. For those that care: Arceus-Poison, 252 HP, 252 Sp.A, 4 Def Modest Nature - Judgement - Acid Spray - Iron Defense - Recover First turn, doesnt really matter. If you're solo, allies will probably use a Def Cheer, so just go for Acid Spray or Judgement for some early chip damage, then once it resets your stats, Iron Def up to max, Recover as needed. By this point it'll likely have its shield up already. Thats fine. Acid spray it 3 times (the first drop wouldve been reset by now if you Acid Spray'd first turn) to get it to -6 Sp.Def (This works through the shield, since its a secondary effect, not a direct status move), Tera as soon as its available (expected to be after the 2nd Acid Spray of this combo if you got a first tirn hit in), then do the final Tera AS, then Tera Judgement it down. If you have the shards to change Arceus' Tera to Poison too, this'll be even stronger, as quick as 3 shotting it through the shield once the setup is done. With any other Tera, you'll still deal extra damage to the shield, just not as much as a matching Tera type (Base damage is 20%, Tera is 30%, Matching Tera is 70%)

Haha I used your guide and totally worked! My Tox was a Modest one, did Acid Spray 3x and then pure Sludge Bombs until he died, also did 2 healing cheers cuz this guy even though he wasnt effective againts my Tox he kept crit hit him HARD!. @@greenmenace9666 Mine has Max HP and Attack EVs with adamant. Its moveset stays the same except for screech. I usually alternate back and forth between Drain Punch and Screech (depending on the type of raid) or if I’m doing Competitive. Love Muk. Been one of my underrated favorites since gen 3 ❤️

Really good Strategy but I found a video by Osirus where you can pretty much 2 shot this with Gengar. Turn 1 use Taunt Turn 2 use 1 Acid Spray in whichhe will get rid of immediately and take you out Turns 3-5 Acid Spray all the way to minus 6 while shield is up and takes you out again Turn 4 and 5 you Tera Poison and go for 2 Nasty Plot And then finally turn 6 and 7 just batter it with Sludge Bomb the first one will take out the sheild while the other goes for the kill. Raid build Max HP and Defense Mosedt Nature Shell Bell Poison Tera Acid Spray Taunt Nasty Plot Sludge Bomb

Used a ceruledge with fire tera, max att & HP. Will o wisp the first turn then bulk up 2x, then bitter blade until it puts up shield and buff up stats, then use clear smog to debuff it. Then bulk up once or bitter blade if low on health. After that spam bitter blade and tera when its available. Use metronome for the held item

Honestly after the Mewtwo raid this one is disappointingly easy. You can consistently farm it with the Ceruledge set (Max HP/ATK, Adamant, Flash Fire, Metronome). T1: WoW T2: Bulk Up T3: Bulk Up T4: Bitter Blade T5: Clear Smog T6: Bulk Up T7: Bitter Blade T8: Tera Fire and Bitter Blade until it is defeated. It's the same fight everytime. No variance and nothing to make you think. The only thing that would make you break this sequence is a shadow claw crit which isn't even an OHKO.

I used Skeledirge. It was okay, but it failed a few times when he did his Leaf Storm + Triple Arrows + Brave Bird all in the same action and had multiple crits and defense drop. he multiple attacks he does means higher chances of getting crit.

The Grass Tera shards are the real benefit for this raid. Competitive builds love to use Grass as a defensive Tera type.

I used a Dragonite with a flying teratype. I used Chilled water to nerf his attack, Ice Spinner to clear the grassy terrain and a move to nerf his def. I also had hurricane but didn't use it much since I was trying to keep his attacks weak. I did it online with randoms, so they did almost all the damage and with him hitting as hard as a rubber chicken, we had no problem taking him down.

Playing online was rough, but beat it first try single-player with Talonflame. Max out Attack and Defense EVs, +Attack -Spak Nature, hold Sitrus Berry. Flying tera type. Taunt first turn, then bulk up 6 times, using Roost as necessary. Probably won't be able to Taunt a second time since shield will go up, but keep an eye out for it. Once you have 6 Bulk Ups, hit with 3 Acrobatics. Terastalize. Acrobatics until it dies. If you have Flame Body ability, it will likely get burnt, causing it to lose attack power and take damage.

I respect you a lot for not putting out one of those clickbait videos prior to the raid claiming to have the 'perfect' build to beat it - a lot of those videos ended up being entirely wrong and made this raid unbearable to play with randoms for the first for hours hahah. Throwing in a vote for Skeledirge on my part - beat it solo and a few times with randoms. Unaware + Shell Bell invalidates most of Decidueye's gimmicks.

For support use Alolan Ninetails with Nature: timid /modest Snow Warning Chilling water = to use when it removes its debuffs and gets it shield up Aurora Veil = start of the battle Charm = 2nd 2 or 3 times Icy wind =lowers speed Terra ice or fairy An Acid spray user is good for removing its buffs😌 Alolan Ninetails is op in this game it learns moonblast as an egg move

Easily solo'd with Corviknight Mirror Armor Shell Bell Flying Tera. Max HP/Atk or Max Atk/Def works. You only need Drill Peck, Taunt, and Bulk Up. Fourth move doesn't matter (maybe Roost in case you take a crit). The most important thing here is to Taunt on Turn 1 and 4 to prevent Bulk Up/Swords Dance. Turn 2 and 3, use Bulk Up. Turn 5 use one more Bulk Up. Then Drill Peck to get Tera, then Tera Drill Peck the rest of the way until you win.

I beat it just now with some randoms. 2 of us used Ceruledge and the other 2 used Skeledirges. Can't guarantee this will work solo but I bet other people online would consider a Ceruledge whether it's support/dps for this raid. The other Ceruledge I ran with brought Iron Defense. My build for my Ceruledge was: Adamant - Atk/HP Sword Dance Bitter Blade Will O Wisp Clear Smog

@@williamholland415 Unaware is for ignoring Decidueye's attack boosts. Otherwise +3 SE Shadow Claw or crit +3 Triple Arrows is an OHKO. Never mind that it gets double attacks all the time later in the battle.

@connerblah i think it only works when skeledirge is attacking the ability description is "when attacking, the pokemon ignores the targets Stat changes" that makes me think it only works on defensive changes

Tried this strat... got wrecked. Not because of my own toxtricity but because teamates keep dying. Its ridiculous Doesn't work. Been following step by step for 1 hour. That or horrendous luck Last edit: it was horrendous luck. Just swept the guy and waiting to sweep again... wxactly like he said about 6 mins

Already caught it using Ceruledge. Moves are Bitter Blade, Will-O-Wisp, Clear Smog and Bulk Up. Nature is Adamant and Item is Expert Belt. Tera-Type of course should be Fire-Type. Was on the verge of a time out loss but still caught it. A tricky one for sure but not too bad. Awesome video once again dude.

I had the same build, but used a metronome. I lost my first 2 attempts because 1. Will o wisp missed and 2. Decidueye got 2 crits in a row at the very beginning. After that it went smoothly.

I used weezing hp,Def with Def nature. Use sludge bomb, acid spray, clear smog, and will o wisp. Will o wisp turn 1 clear smog turn 2 sludge bomb turn 3 after shield clear smog then acid spray till you die then tera poison get the -6 spdef with acid spray then sludge bomb away

Why not poison? Gets you STAB on Acid Spray and still resists grass and fighting. I used taunt instead of iron defense. I found it more consistent since it has so many high-crit moves. BB is a 4-5HKO when it's unboosted so it's easy to stay ahead with Recover.

@@kartiksaraf4676 Yeah it only starts to go for the high crit moves later when it gets all the double attacks. Always BB first then a (random?) high crit move. Maybe I just don't have my move order quite right and you finish it before it gets to that point.

Thanks for this post because Arceus does work well if you have one set up to cover most raids. The Flying and Poison both work. I just screwed it up the first time by automatically terastalising which turned it normal and then got absolutely destroyed completely forgetting that you don't need to boost from tera and that the plate changes Judgment not your tera-type... I've been away from the game too long haha

Ceruledge with Bitter Blade and Metronome strategy can work but the setup is a bit risky. You might go will o wisp and then spam bitter blade to reduce the incoming damage, just be careful with the bulk up. Corviknight can work pretty well here being annoying as heck removing buffs and having reflect there for the team. Ed: Compared to Mewtwo, this raid feels easy ngl.

Honestly, the Bug Tera Mew spamming Leech Life with a Metronome doesn't die and does consistent damage. 4 of those can clear the raid in minutes

Made with a bit of luck using Ceruledge Bitter Blade/Bulk Up/Clear Smog and metronome for additional atk stat up. Need to use Bulk Up up to x5 at least to survive Tripple Arrow defense reduction while using bitter blade to finish him up

If you're struggling still I was able to solo with skeledirge. 252 sp atk, 252 Def, unaware, holding shell bell. Torch song, will o wisp, Flamethrower & slack off. Reroll if clodsire pops up as a partner. His poison will block ability to burn. Turn 1 wisp Torch song until shield Flamethrower until dead....you can mix in slack offs or Torch songs as desired but Flamethrower burns help alot defensively as well as the dmg from the atk

The second taunt isnt working. It sets it up for 4 turns initially so the second one fails on turn 4. But he removes negative effects after second taunt fails so it removes it and he gets the swords dance off.

For Violet and Pokedex completionist. Ceruledge with Fire Tera works just fine. Max HP/Atk IVs with the remainder in defense if you must Adamant Nature Holding any item that prevents stat drops Moves were: Reflect Swords Dance Clear Smog Bitter Blade Reflect turn one Bitter Blade turn 2 to heal Clear Smog when he buffs twice If he's gets you close dying let him just put up another Reflect Tera Swords Dance x 3 Go to town with Bitter Blade Triple Arrow will not debuff you so there's no need to worry about it.

as far as I can tell, he's only really not had a video for the Delphox raid, which is annoying insofar as that's the ONLY raid I really cared about actually doing when it came around... fortunately, just cause he was too busy with TOTK content to keep up with raids after bugs delayed them for a bit, doesn't mean I wasn't able to still do it on my own.

@@dm2562 probably not. They are limited time events from pokemon after all... They only give you a second time period after 2 weeks, should you not have been able to build a suitable pokemon for the first one. For example, hisuian typhlosion is a 7 star raid right now but it will appear again in two weeks and probably never after. Not 100% sure though, just very probable.

I soloed it with a Ceruledge. Lv. 100 HP 252, Atk 252, Def 4 Tera: Fire Nature: Adamant Item: Metronome Moves: Bulk Up, Clear Smog, Bitter Blade, Will-o-wisp Turn 1 try to Will-o-wisp to half its attack Turns after just use Bulk Up or Bitter Blade. Just check your health. After the shield is up, use Clear Smog then go bak to the Bulk up or Bitter Blade strat. Once available Tera so that Shadow Claw wont hit hard. Then just catch it after…

It doesn't need to be that rng heavy, there is a little, yehaa, but if you use will o wisp first and keep sunny day on there is little chance of failing unless you get very bad luck.

Big thanks to you and Xania for this build. My pick-up groups were ... not the best, so much so that I eventually accidentally started a solo battle with three AIs, got closer in that battle than with any of the PUGs, and decided to just do solos. I then realized I'd accidentally equipped a SOOTHE Bell instead of my Shell Bell, and correcting this made a huge positive difference. I still got knocked out at the last minute, but one of the AIs managed to do some last-second chip damage and secure the win.

Austin seriously try Corviknight fighting Tera with Reflect, Iron Defense, Body Press, Roost. Use reflect, then iron defense all the way and body press. Brother once it’s Terastalized OMG the damage it does is insane!! He smacks it.

One of the NPCs always starts out a solo raid with a defense cheer. I don't think doing a second defense cheer later on does anything, at least based on what I learned through the Mewtwo raid.

I see, with poison it won't go for the arrow attack that coul debuff.Thou you'll be losing some stab since fire tera brings your stab to x2, while poison to 1.5. Still, if you fire tera and use sunny day, decidueye's shield would be down by the time you max Sp attack meaning that there is no need of another attack move.

The first thing you said was that it wasn’t easy, but I beat it on my second attempt with other people, and the squad was Ceruledge, Charizard, Cinderace, and me with Skeledirge. I pretty much solo’d with Skeledirge and just had sunny day torch song a couple and fire blasted three times with fire Tera and it was done.

I was able to solo with an arceus with max Speed and near max Sp. Attack. With its typing changed to of course poison and poison tera. Acid spray, Judgment, Iron defense, and Taunt, but I don't think taunt is truly needed as long as you use Iron defense and for even more damage would be better off calm mind instead.

tried a bunch of other possible counters i had built but no dice, had to use the ol relliable guide lol. thankfully i had a HA toxtricity on sword so i just bred it until i got a tera poison offspring
