Hit 1 is more logical n organic with weak motive. Hit 2 is less logical but good motive. But sesh characterisation makes it bearable unlike vishwaks fiery mode characterisation. The main flaw in this movie according to me is the predictability of the killer. Many people might think Its very tough to predict but majority of the movies follow a similar killer pattern. The killer would be that person on whom the story doesnt create any sort of doubt.
So many logical loopholes...ex. When he was enquiring about the killer knowing who his dad and mom was, he could have easily found out who their Son is from any of his neighbours or by other means rather than checking all the news papers etc etc...also he could have tracked by calling newspaper office and find out who posted that ad. Also in the climax, they clearly showed heroes legs and hands were both tied up with chains, but after the dogs help to tear up one hand cuff, he gets free totally which was very dumb. Kerala/Malayalam directors would have taken care of such little things.

My logic break is why would the killer get triggered by some random cop's arrogance when the crime in context was no way related to killers MO and another issue is when the killers pic is de-pixalated, it was like killers pic from a photoshoot

Hit 1 was more better in terms of handling the suspense. Like it totally plays with your mind to get to the killer but there is no backstory or any reference like in Hit 2 which makes it totally impossible to predict what is happening and that made me feel connected to the movie.

The killer's Girlfriend says that he threatened her but once when sesh calls her, they(killer and his girlfriend) are in an intimate moment. If she has a death threat from him, why is she so happy in that scene? Secondly, she is also a part of the women organisation,why doesn't he kill her?

The second question you asked has an obvious answer , he wants to disguise himself by posing as her boyfriend , and why were they having an intimate moment is self explanatory , see if the guy was shown threatening her , we would have known about the killer right then and there,but why exactly intimate moment instead of a normal moment is probably an error or to be addressed in the next part of anyone cares
Hit 1 was more logical and interesting and has unpredictable story line. Felt lot of difference as I watched the hit 1 before hit 2. Part 2 is more of regular psycho thriller. Infact, vishwak or adivi sesh would have been more suitable for Nani's role, even though they tried to portray nani as ruthless doesn't felt like he his ruthless, because sesh and vishwak have that negative character looks. One logical issue is why did killer choosed those 2 youngsters? Killing jhansi and pooja had some reason, But Sanjana and Tanya were just part of the club and choosing them randomly is not justified. Atleast if they had done some mistakes.ok we could understand that there is some justification for him to kill them. But they way he chooses the victims are not convincing and one last thing(spoiler) why did all the victims had visited the same dentist? Last thing(spoiler again), they should have casted some infamous charcter for killer role which could have avoided the predictability. If you take Hit 1, casting for killer was less known personality and no one would have guessed about them. Hope they don't turn the part 3 into regular telugu mass pyscho thriller just to hype nani character and not sidelining the organic story. Story should be the hero not the actor. Fingers crossed 🤞 I went to movie after watching barbell review ( by stopping befor the spolier section) but barbell should have watched the Hit 1 before going to part 2. Maybe the review would have been different than the current one. Hope barbell can make comparison video about Hit 1 and 2 pros and cons, predictability, organic etc:-
My take on the reason why villain started projecting his victims is not because of Sesh’s taunting but I’m sensing there could be a pile up for future films. In a scene villain mentioned why he was bothered so until at that point he has no reason to create chaos or to mess with Sesh. Let me know if I make sense.
Showing killer motive be it beginning or the end in both the movies didn't kind of work for me because it would have been more intresting to reveal killers motive layer by layer during the investigation. I feel this would have worked more for me. Nonetheless it was a perfect movie and for the most part of it was engaging

1. There's already a mention about pub's CCTV footage wept clean and the hard disks were missing. So I don't think the killer would be dumb enough to leave that evidence. 2. Rao Ramesh prepared and asked him to rejoin the HIT but you can see Srikant Iyengar(i don't know his character name) talking to shesh about his transfer order. I think he has more authority than Rao Ramesh.

Director is mediocre but better than rotta directors, we can give him that, but definitely nothing special either, just few seemingly well written plot chunks which are a collection of cliched story beats from regular murder mysteries and nothing else.

While the movie is a good watch, crime investigation wise, I feel, there are major flaws. 1. Luminol tests positive for blood in general. It can be human blood, animal blood, or menstrual blood (luminol reacts with the iron in hemoglobin). No effort was made to determine if it is human blood. No DNA testing was done to determine that the blood is from the victim. In fact, blood group testing was also not done. 2. Luminol glow can be seen only when it is dark, definitely not outside during day. 3. No effort was made to verify the alibi of Raghavudu. He kept saying he was in Kakinada. Looking up his call details data is the simplest way to start verifying his alibi. A more accurate way would have been to see CCTVs in nearby areas and track his movements. 4. Several people can wear size 9 Fila shoes. No effort was made to connect the shoe to Raghavudu. Anybody could have planted the shoes in his home. Shoe's unique ID was not tracked from the company to the retail store where Raghavudu bought the shoes. Also, foot imprint on the shoe's sole was not analyzed. I read somewhere that the long-term foot imprint of a person on a shoe sole is unique like a fingerprint. 5. No DNA was found in the bite marks and the investigation team didn't even explore the probable reason behind this, when saliva is in fact, an excellent DNA source. Had they explored the possibilities, they might have concluded that the bite marks are fake. 6. I was surprised when video proof was called 'circumstantial' evidence. Despite the video, no effort was made to go through the CCTVs outside the theatre in Kakinada and verify his alibi. Instead, KD wanted to hunt down the lady who was with Raghavudu. 7. The reason why Raghavudu tried escaping when he met KD is not at all solid. Several people have affairs but they don't run away when a police officer approaches them. The way he ran, I was expecting something like theft, smuggling, or drugs, but it turned out to be an affair that is not even illegal. Most importantly, I was not surprised when the killer was revealed. Also, I wish Suhas did a more impactful spine-chilling performance. Swapnil Kothriwal's performance in several of Crime Patrol episodes is truly remarkable. In stories where we expect/know who the killer is, it is the killer's performance that makes a lot of difference. I knew the heroine would be kidnapped by killer the moment she was introduced. That was her purpose in the story, to be the way to hit KD where it hurts the most. Their love story is half-baked and not necessary. Basically, anybody who watches Crime Patrol, Forensic Files, or any crime show based on real police investigations can find a lot of loopholes. Despite all this, the movie is a welcome change 🙂But this also shows why Drishyam and Gone Girl are amazing movies.
