This TV is only 5 years old, and recently started acting up. As seen in the video, when powering on, the display produces an expanding blue-ish splotch over the screen, and the TV powers itself off after about 15 seconds. This cycle repeats until the TV is unplugged. For about a week prior to the problem, the screen displayed ghosting and abnormal coloration intermittently; I tried unplugging and re-seating all internal cables and connectors, which initially seemed to fix it, but the problem came back and ultimately devolved into the blue splotch. I have replaced the T-Con board; this did NOT solve the issue. Unplugging the T-Con board from the mainboard (LVDS cable) results in the same power-cycling behavior, but with nothing on the screen except the backlight. Next to try are the mainboard and power supply board. Beyond that, it could only be a cable, or (hopefully not!) the LCD panel itself. This doesn't seem like a panel issue to me, because it happened all at once and not gradually or partially.
