That reminds me of the tow dollies that are used on big rigs to haul more than one trailer. I'm pretty sure this is the same concept. It's just scaled down a bit.
It seems to lack the articulation point at the receiver connection where semi dollies are a pintle hook and lunette. This is like having an extension on your receiver with additional axle to offset the load placed on your drive axle by the trailer you’re towing. It’s like a Jeep used with a RGN trailer.
Have you ever tested it with a trailer that is improperly loaded(or too heavy front or rear of trailer axle ) see if it improve or make it worse away on a freeway
Hurry and get this thing approved to sell around the world. Its needed for the New " Living quarter bumper pull horse trailers coming out by Dixie Trailers. Without your invention theses trailers are dangerous to tow.
I don't see any real advantage to using this. I seen one earlier, don't remember the brand, you could get them in red & black (for sure). They had the gooseneck ball
This reminds me of the video i saw the tow all witch a lows you to tow a 5th wheel or a gooseneck behind your suv it's basically is the same thing but modified i would rather use the resever on the back of my truck to pull something
ok ill bite hows this going to work on a older standard shift truck and how are you goins to maintain control in the event of a wheel failure or blowout on the fancy hitch
Probably the same way a converter dolly tire works in a Commercial environment. The tires are simply offloading the tongue weight so the actual physics of the downward force are still in play. Blowing a tire is always bad, towing it’s always worse.
This popped up so I watched it. I don't understand the purpose of this video. There on to technical specs, no product info, no website, no way to even buy it.
The very LAST thing this is, is new. Go watch the very old Lucille Ball- Desi Arnaz movie "The long, long trailer", you'll see the same damn thing in that too. That movie was made in 1953!
Maybe, I've been looking at the Automated Trailer Hitch, made in Texas, that has a special three point attachment to your truck. It doesn't rotate normally so it's considered part of the truck and not a trailer.
Is this post a fraudulent post or because so far I've been reading comments about Roy doesn't sound too good I would love to have one of these but there's a guy in the comment section stating it will destroy your drivetrain
chicn wing agreed. i was pulling a 13k pintle with a 3/4 ton since thats the trk i had when i got the trl. i ended up with non related trk issues so i replacing it with 1 ton dually. night and day difference. used to be too light on trk and the little load reposition then too heavy
Nope, it’s useful for trailers with that may not be that heavy but have a heavy tongue, especially if you’re someone who loads and unloads you’re trailer constantly. This way you don’t have to worry about adjusting a weight distribution hitch as the tongue weight fluctuates though out the day.

All of these "manufacturers" are excluding one minor detail..... yeah the weight is distributed better and they add braking power(A little) BUT you will destroy your drivetrain very quickly pulling these larger loads they show
David Norris what destroy’s the drive train is the vertical weight. Most 1/2 tons don’t come with full floating differentials so the axel both pull and support the payload take one of those away and it is less likely to create a problem with the tow vehicle. The fact that they add brakes also addresses the the other weakness by adding reasonable weight to the tow vehicle rear wheels and another set of heavy duty wheels and brakes. There is no down side other than expense to these tow adapters.
LOL all vehicles suv's truck sedans have a tow wieght limit for a reason.. Go above it and you are driving illegally and any state highway patrol will pull you over site you for it and forbid you from driving down the road. It's like my truck bumper is only rated to pull 5k pounds safely anything over and you take the chance to rip your bumper of not be able to stop or destroy your drive train. There is also one called TowAll by a con man named Roy Wall thats similar but also has a 5th wheel hitch. And like i and David Norris pointed out it's a stupid device that will never work and was never produced because it would never pas DOT regulations...
