I will sometimes place a trap in the edge of the bushes outside the crack of the garden shed. They can't see it. If we don't have exterior alarms I like to place it on the front porch right outside the front door. I'll also place one at times a few feet in the blue sliding door at car battery. The shadow usually hides it pretty well.
I think the one at garden shed is very good, especially if you have the pressure tank there. Going all the way to the front porch to trap there is not recommended because you will take way to long to get there and worst case they have car already open before you come back. Also you will never be able to replace them there since it is so far away. I always would recommend having traps close to you so you can actually kill them or reset them when they trigger it. But yeah if you have for example fuse and pressure in the barn I also sometimes trap the sliding door, the gate and the barn gap and just hardcore defend car side. I think on this map you can mix it up alot (also depending on where the objectives spawned) but like I said I don't think the trap on front gate is useful because of the time loss and worst case if it is a conny noone can even get there to stop her even if you see her there :D
