In 1916, as World War I grinds on, Winston Churchill finds solace in the trenches of Artois, writing home about the horrors and his strange comfort amidst the chaos. Born into British aristocracy, Churchill’s adventurous life had already seen him rise through the ranks to become First Lord of the Admiralty-until a disastrous decision in the Dardanelles nearly ended his career.
Meanwhile, just a few kilometers away, a young Adolf Hitler also found his calling in the trenches. A failed artist, Hitler embraced the discipline of military life, believing he had finally found his purpose.
In the same muddy battlegrounds, Churchill and Hitler, both passionate about painting, unknowingly walked parallel paths-paths that would lead them to shape the fate of the world.
