A collection if Saxon, Norman, and Roman tribes with wildly fluctuating borders and god alone knows how many languages. France? Same, just add the Gauls. Germany? Don't even get me started. Russia? America is one of the oldest nations on earth. Secondly, American is a nationality, not a race. And even if it were, there's an immense number of ethnicities within "white", "black", "asian", and all the rest. My ancestry is a ridiculous mix of practically every region of Europe -- I have no ethnic ties to anywhere on Earth. But my nationality as an American is beyond question. And so is anyone else who is a citizen of this nation.
