Killing Zaydan is so much easier with this method haha. When I did it I had to go through the school and then get him with the toilet opportunity and it took me so many tries. Thanks for making this guide!
Yeah i got a SASO in this mission by pure luck, i just run around in school area to find a way to isolate Zaydan, threw some coins and it worked :D It was on professional mode though, never tried on master.
From playing the Hitman 2 maps, and going back to the legacy. Legacy is a breeze. Maybe it's because I've played it for so long, but the Hitman 2 maps are pretty challenging and fun. This game is just great. I love everything about it. Replaying the legacy maps is fun too. I'm enjoying doing them on master because I didn't do professional on Hitman (2016). They way the have the difficulty settings is great! I hated hitman (2016) because you had to do it twice. But Hitman 2, I can do professional and master but still get the same rewards although you get the extra challenges for doing it SA/SO on master etc.
Agent 47 totally agree, in hitman 2 you can't just snipe targets easily but in legacy you can find great vantage points. Few targets have a personal bodyguard unlike in 2 and in general maps are more simple and linear.
@@ok-kk3ic they walked the same paths. They just seemed to have a longer view range. I was constantly getting spotted around three cars and avoiding the camera proved tough. In the end I resorted to shooting the camera as quick as possible to get through
Just wanted to say thanks for all of your SASO videos. I try to figure out SASO on my own, but your videos help when I'm stuck or if I have no ideas at all. Still try to not copy it 1:1, because I really want to see, if I can do it on my own. It's actually pretty challenging and it's incredibly fun.
This method was so helpful to show me how to get into the embassy and take out Strandburg. However, I saw some others in the comments have trouble with Strandburg immediately walking away after taking out the guard and/or getting spotted by the guard on the lower level when subduing Strandburg. I have a suggestion, after taking out the second guard (keeping the door closed until he gets to the doorway to ensure he turns around), toss a coin over the railing which will not only distract the guard on the lower level, but will also make Strandburg stop in his tracks so you can come up behind him and subdue him. It only took me two tries after figuring out that and that was only because I got spotted by a roaming guard that wasn't there on professional difficulty so wasn't keeping an eye out for him, and the garage escape got me spotted as well.
I’m so glad I’m back into hitman. Never played season 1 and I just outright bought seasons 1 & 2. I’ve been playing for well over twenty hours, it’s definitely sucked me in with its terrific level design. The only thing I wish was better was the unlockable rewards for completing challenges and mastery’s. Thanks for all your help in these videos
1. Don't worry about the brick exploding, you don't need it again, no reason to pick it back up. 2. Shoot the camera out from inside the door to the parking garage for an easy exit. 3. Shoot a bullet at the floor in front of the two guards by the stairs to get by them.
i knocked out the first guard near claus and the second without dumping the second body because it would be no big deal, but claus legitimately walked away and now im here, in a room with 2 near dead bodies, and dressed as a clown
I don't mind doing these challenges on my own without any help but I hate the Marrakesh level with a bloody passion, everything is spread really far apart and you have to walk through a labyrinth of alleys and corners with very little memorable landmarks to give you any sense of direction and the only way one could build a sense of direction is by spending hours inside this map which is the last thing I wanna do. So cheers for the walkthrough! ;)
You can actually shoot the first camera from the other side of the wall. There's a piece of broken bar bent upwards a little to the left of the vault point. Put your back to the far wall for the best chance of getting it unseen. The guard will notice the bullet impact, but that doesn't lose SA.
I think maybe... Io made a new update? Because I had a lot of trouble with this one due to bricks exploding LOTS of more guards in the garage and just more guards in general.
as a person thats just trying this stuff now I am finding your video's incredibly useful. There is just always something that I miss that makes me get stuck. On this mission i figured out how to get to the guy in the consulate but for the life of me I could never figure out how to tackle that fortress of a school. Never knew that there was a waiter that can just deliver food to him easy.
Need to get them into the room. Hide strandburg to the right on the outside. The woman will always come up but stop at the second door, so hide the 2 guards and move strandburg like I said
Once I finally figure out and execute the SASO on my own, I enjoy watching these videos to see how it's done by someone who really knows what they're doing. You did this one about 4x faster than I did. Thanks for uploading these!
Whenever I try and get claus I always get spotted I have even tried saving before hand. Does anyone have any tips or a different way to get rid of claus?
Too late? I got him in his office, had to take out two guards but after that it was really easy to kill him since there's only you two and nobody goes through that place, (i could be wrong tho, i hid his body behind his desk just to make sure no one would find him)
For the camera on the outside of the garage. When you're coming out, you can get the right angle and can shoot it. Just run back into the garage because the guard will come searching. Made that part 100X easier
Thanks. I think it might have been tweaked or the timing is very tight. If I do exactly what you do then Strandberg walks away immediately after throwing the crowbar. It's not a big deal, the conference room nearby with the guard sitting down, neither that guard nor Strandberg recognise 47 as an intruder (WTF?). I had a syringe (garage store-room), placed a gun behind the sitting-down guard, threw a brick to get his attention (stayed out of the way for this bit, though, careful of the guard circling the conference room. Strandberg walked in, I walked behind him, syringe and then out as you went out. Still needed to wait a bit for Zaydan to die so no time lost.
If anyone else is messing up the timing for Strandberg you can also throw the crowbar as a distraction for the ground floor and earn an unnoticed kill with a push of the ledge
PSA: When you don't have the scrambler nor the key hacker you can easily open the door from the garage to the consulate with the remote breaching charge. Works as fine. Just tried it out.
So the chef when back to sleep for me, went to wake him again, then he finally buggered off to do his job, doubly late. haha Good stuff as always mate!
Might be 1 year late but: Between the Shisha bar and the Bazaar Entrance starting location is a waiter sleeping on a chair in the alley right in front of the shisha bar staff entrance. This guy brings food to the general, I'm not sure if they changed/patched him because while I tried these methods I found out that you have to wake him up for example using the radio next to him to start his food delivery. I waited 20 minutes without him waking up on his own.
@@RU_HKR Once again seeing you in this comments section, I waited for 10 minutes for him to eat his food and only now do I realize I forgot the radio. I feel dumb now but at least I share the experience with somebody else. Lol.
I recommend following Freeze's instructions till the Claus Hugo Strandberg point. When you get into the consulate building, get into the discussion room or conference room where there's a gentleman sitting on the seat, once the guard has left that room. Then go to the left corner of the room and get cover behind a plant and wait for the target to come in, then just throw out a coin to the left upper corner and don't run to the target but crouch walk and when you hear the target tell the man to check what that was, bump into him a few times till the man cannot see you or the target. Then throw an object at the gentleman and kill Claus, and then extract. ( *use this method if you're having trouble finishing the mission like I did* )
A small tip: when u get spotted by klaus, the alarm will turn on. Just throw ur crowbar at him and drag the bodies in the small room. I did this so and a guard entered the room from the stairs u came from. Just wait till the alarm goes off and take all guard via wall-subdue out
I remember running this in 2016 on professional and this SASO being so much of a pain. This time around though it felt so easy in comparison. thanks again freeze
Man you make it look so easy :) I have so many problems with this. First the guard knockout was spotted by some random civilian, the next time 2 random civilians walked into the room because the heard the crowbar or something, then in the third attempt someone spotted me while I took out the target even though I did it the same way... next time I was spotted in the garage by the guards somehow, then once I did complete it I only got suit only and not silent assasin :(
My play through was different to this, when I get into the garage Zeydan gets poisoned, and when going for Strandberg the guard on the floor below the balcony always catches me, my work around was to throw a wrench and place a coin in the room, when Strandberg comes to investigate he walks into the room to pick up the coin and I get him.
on your way back through the garage, it is ok to take out the cameras! the second one will alert the cop, but just run down and hide behind a car in the garage and that will help with only having to avoid him when he goes for a smoke!
It works. I took out both with the Krugermeier 2-2 (just to be safe, due to the subsonic rounds). I recommend using your only save on Master somewhere after taking out the first camera, and before taking out the second.
So I know that at the time this video came out, this route/method would work perfectly but they must have done updates since then because I'm a little late to the game. Every time I follow your route through the garage, I get caught by the officer in the red beret. Every time without fail. Eventually I worked out my own route which was to go the opposite way round the garage and use a coin to distract the last soldier near the door to the consulate and it worked an absolute charm for me. It's so frustrating! Still, it's my own fault for starting the game so late. Love your videos.
The garage part is extremely RNG heavy I've found. Sometimes the guards spot you, sometimes they don't (location doesn't seem to matter, I've tried it in like 50 different ways) and the camera before the door seems to spawn rotating in different directions. If it's the wrong direction, you're fucked and have to restart the mission. If you try this I recommend saving in the janitors closet before you kill Sandberg. Because at that point you've gotten through the hardest part (that's seed reliant) and just have to worry about bugs or glitches from the guards around that area. Had one spot me through the wall once... Probably the least fun mission to play like this, but by far the most fun to play casually. Funny how that is.
When you're going up to strandburg, there's no problems with guards spotting. Just try stick left. When you're coming out from killing strandburg, stick FAR left and hug the wall. Then wait for the guard to move back, works every time. If you're talking about the camera on the outside of the garage. If you get the right angle, you can shoot it. I know this was 2 years ago... but I think something changed. I did exactly as you did in the video and I didn't get Silent Assassin or Silent Assassin suit only. I was not spotted, triple checked, but I think there is a problem with the "no bodies found" aspect, due to poisoning Zaydan and obviously him being found.
@@MrFreeze2244, you're right... I figured it out... I was in the default summer suit, I forgot to put on 47's signature suit. As soon as I changed suits, it was fine. Thanks again for all your great walk through videos!
I am doing this map SASO and Sniper at the same time and it's a pain in the ass because I forgot to equip the hacking device for the garage door. Thinking about doing it from scratch with the hacking thing.
It still works just did it myself. You have to have to go immidiatly when MrFreeze does it and remember to do small s-move near the cars on the door or the guard coming behind or on the left will notice you.
Mrfreeze. Quick question do you tend to skip the "in mission" cinematic or do you let it play? Cause I've noticed my npcs are in different locations depending if I skip it or not. Thanks
I'm on PC and the second guard that you said comes to the door and always puts his back to you doesn't always do that for me, Also with the same crowbar I throw to get him over a guy from downstairs comes up to check it out as well. I managed and eventually got it, thanks for the video
I had to spend a good two hours trying to come up with a way to delete camera footage cause my dumbass got caught. In retrospect, I could have just restarted but I guess I'm really stubborn I did it though. (As I say at 2:00am with barely any sanity left)
Start on the Lamp Store rooftop. You'll be trespassing, and Master puts a guard *right* behind you when you start (facing away from you), but the woman with the phone has a keycard.
I had to wait for Claus to come back around because the 2nd guard kept investigating my 2nd crowbar throw. In the meantime I knocked out a few other guards to ensure safe passage out of the embassy. Took a lot of tries but I got there.
Thanks for the video. Mine seems to be glitched. Got the silent assassin but not the suit only even though i didnt change disguise at all. Tried it twice now , bit annoying
For some reason Reza doesn't die from the poison in my game. I waited like 30 mins at the exit just for him to live his best life. Any idea what I could have done wrong?
You're actually better off going left instead of right when you enter the parking garage. Approach the double doors from a clockwise rotation. And you can use a breaching charge and the guards won't notice.
i did SA/SO run in marrakesh by causing lockdown for Claus by shooting him them causing an accident kill near the shoe shop. Killed Zaydan using the method in this video... 2 easy kills without entering the consulate/school
As on PC this took over 40 minuets and I don't know why REZA not eat the food. So confused OMG. I'm gonna cry. Edit: I used ICA explosive instead of hacking device. Is this effect?
So I’ve been trying to get a head start on Colorado while I have more free time and it seems sniper assassin is broken The targets guards instantly know where you are and start shooting You don’t get compromised but all the cameras become enforcers I’m not sure if that would make it impossible to get sniper assassin (does it count as them seeing you?) or if it’s a weird bug that does nothing I don’t know if this will affect everyone or just me So just a heads up Colorado might suck (more than usual)
The upper floor is also different. 4 guards: 1 standing by the door whom you can attract with the hoover, 2 patrolling who are harder to get but not impossible, and a 4th who just comes in and stands at the end of the hallway at the balcony. He is the most difficult: he sees you coming down the hallway, when he turns around he's too quick going through the door and is thus visible by many people on the other side, and he's too far away to aim an object at his head. And he WILL spot you if you try to get Strandberg at the balcony. Anyone know of a way past this?
I did this and got the SASO but somehow didn't get the no evidence challenge Edit: I shot all the cameras during the run with the krugermeier just to be safe Edit 2: I loaded my save disguised as security and deleted the evidence but apparently I had a body found. The only body found was the general
I didn't either. It seems to be a problem with this map because it hasn't happened on any of the others I recorded. Best guess would be the dude we shot with a tranquilliser, but I've used it on other maps so I dunno. I had to replay it and just speedrun it
@@MrFreeze2244 But we didnt use a tranquilizer? The only problem with the no evidence in marrakesh just seems to be Zaydan being a 'Noticed Kill' with the poison for some reason
I'm a little confused right now. I now have silent assassin, suit only on master mode, but I don't have the "no evidence" challenges on any difficulty. No evidence is literally part of SA, how did I not unlock it? :v Edit: I loaded the save file I made and replayed the escape, now I unlocked it lol
Could someone answer a question? I own Hitman 2016, and, of course Hitman 2, but I can't access the 2016 missions on Hitman 2. Do I need the legacy pack? Because I thought I just had to own the 2016 game to get access to the missions. I am on Xbox One if that's of any relevance.
Unfortunately I believe you do. I owned the original and none of my progress showed and I couldn't access season 1, in Hitman 2, until the Legacy pack downloaded (I have slow internet). It is bullocks.
@@senseisprotege3632 I've actually found out you don't. It is available for season 1 owners. I discovered it on the "store" tab on Hitman 2 when scrolling to my challenges. You just simply have to start up Hitman Season 1, and you should be able to download the legacy pack/GOTY pack from one of the menus. :) Edit: I realised you actually said you have the legacy pack. My bad.
Okay, I have a question, on Marrakesh, this map, on master difficulty, I can't get the "No Evidence, master" to pop, I have silent assassin, suit only and everything else, but not this one, help, please... I want classic coin
I had the same thing. I fixed it by knocking out the two guards in the room and then throwing the crowbar over the railing, then running out and pushing stranburg overr the railing, make sure you hide the bodies of the guards in the crate and then escape
anyone else having a problem where marrakesh doesnt say it is downloaded, then you uninstakk it, and then it doesnt show up on 'manage game' on xbox? i had this problem after playing marrakesh. If someone could help that would be much appreciated
Uninstall the map that isn’t recognized. Do a hard reset of the console (hold down the power button on the console until it turns off). Wait 30 seconds at least before turning it back on. The offending map should redownload and install properly. If not, repeat these steps, but disable your network connection before doing the hard reset. After restarting, re-enable your network connection and the download/install should work. I’ve had this happen to me and this is what fixed it.
In my game (hitman 2 legacy) there is a female office worker who walks right through there, so even if I do everything undetected I can't hide the all the bodies in time through this method. Idk if its just my game or a new update
